Sent a text on WhatsApp and outlined time place and date. She indicated she was available. GREAT.
There was a screening process and three options were provided on her website (business website). I chose the LinkedIn profile. Sent it to her and for whatever unexplained reason it was not good enough. I am retired operating my own part-time consulting business but my career retirement was also listed.
I had also agreed with a wee increase to her deposit of 20% before she did not accept my first screening. After which I got “crickets”.
I tried a couple of time later to try and ascertain what more she wanted for screening. Photo ID. So I provided that covering my home address which she allowed. Crickets followed.
I did persist and was met with crickets. You see when two people communicating with text on similar phones or service providers you can see if they see your texts or if they are responding. Zoe saw all my texts and was responding to my last request to provide how she wanted the 20% deposit. Then suddenly crickets again.
So if Zoe is running a business as many independents do, she failed one of the key elements in business 101 - timely communication.
