Spelling and grammar aren't indications of truth, but they help me verify if the person who's meeting with someone is close to my type. If a person is factual, realistic and verified, they're more probable to give me a good indication of whether or not a particular woman would be a good fit and good experience for me.How do spelling and grammar reflect whether the reviewer is telling the truth or not?![]()
There is no such word as alot. Allot is a verb that means to allocate. "A lot" means many.I like this thread and it's funny that NOS bumped it back up. As of late, I have been playing alot of word games online and have been discovering that, alot of "words" are not techincally "words". I pride myself on good grammar and spelling, as well as punctuation. One thing that annoys the heck out of me is, when I see ads on CL and otherwise, all the acronyms they try and use to make their ads stand out, it just looks like they are ignorant. When I'm sending text messages, then I have a tendency to use acronyms, but that's just so my message doesn't consist of 3 pages. LOL But on a board or writing ad copy, I think it's innappropriate with the exclusion of the acronyms we use for our business, GFE, MSOG etc. etc.
Techinically, allot of that was inapproppriate. Wyh nto hvae soem fnu wtih ti?Yes, I do that on occasion!![]()

BRAVO! You gotta have standards even if most of the 'tards are too lazy to proof read their writing.I've been writing for years now, professionally.
I understand, and can appreciate that theer aer thoes that dotn nede evreythnig in odrer to reda thnigs, but also appreciate the aescetics of a properly spelled, grammatical review.
If we can discourse on a proper, comfortable and considerate level, I think it brings more to the discussion than a mis-pronounced, illiterate and inconsiderate rant. Although it's still readable, is it pleasant? No.
I tend to also discredit the reviews I read by less literate people, to a certain extent. I think literary content reflects probable veracity.
Jodie, you were bang on with your comments. Kudos to you.
Two cents, cheers, and have fun!

Precisely!BRAVO! You gotta have standards even if most of the 'tards are too lazy to proof read their writing.
Maybe they are color blind and can't see the red lines under their misspelled words when they are typing? More likely a case of "don't give a fuck".
There goes most doctors and Einstein.Precisely!
If someone is careless with his spelling and grammar, I suspect he's also careless about his thinking, and he loses credibility in my eyes.
A plural verb is required. There goes most doctors and Einstein.
I think proper spelling is very impotent.I have run into many ignorant people that feel they are so superior because of there grammar and spelling. Then when you pay attention you find their grammar and spelling to be wrong also.
Your thoughts?
A guy and his wife are having "marital troubles" so she sends him to go see his doctor.I think proper spelling is very impotent.
Maybe the "important" doctor is fucking the impotent man's wife. The guy says "the doctor said I's impo'tent, so I's gonna dress impo'tent!"![]()
