try a google search on "unprotected oral sex", if you do, you won't do it.

i went to a mp last week and the girl i had gave a bbbj. i was expecting a cbj and it caught me by surprise. of course, after it was done, everything hit me. now i'm kinda shitting my pants about STDs and hiv. the main thing i'm scared of is HIV. i'm confused, as i've done some research and some say u cant get it from saliva, but there's a chance from unprotected oral. can anyone explain? this was done last week, and i haven't noticed any change in myself, or on my body.

One thing is for sure, I'd rather get one than give one!

If you go to a club, you might get shot at, if you eat meat, you might turn into a mad cow or mad chicken, if you cross a street, you might turn into road pizza, if you go to a bank machine, someone might stab you with a needle, if you are outside, you might get hit buy UFO, if you are in your house, if might catch fire or something, if you are in your car, well........

IMHO, it really depends on the SP.... I think that most SP's are smart enough to know all the risks involved, and to take the proper steps to prevent STD's. Of course, there are those SP's like crack-head SW's that don't know the difference between an STD and shinola, so it's like ~ "don't even think about it, cowboy!". But as in Amsterdam, where many SP's are regulated, health checked, etc. to death, I am sure that there are SP's here that are smart enough to know when and when not to give BBBJs. i.e. - if a client has been with a thousand girls in the last couple of months, it would be wise not to do a BBBJ.....

But again, that's my $.05 worth (inflation, boys).

I reviewed the literature a while back and this is what I remember....more dangerous for the sp to give bbbj than for the guy to get it. Guys that get bbbj are more likely to get gonorrhea and chlamydia from asymptomatic pharyngeal gonorrhea. These stds increase the likelyhood of hiv transmission to the guy because of increased likelyhood of pharyngeal bleeding. I think there has only been one case of hiv contracted by bbbj and that was questionable because straight sex wasnt always done with a condom. Id love a bbbj but dont want to get chlamydia or gonorrhea....if the sp doesnt have chlamydia or gonorrhea, not likely regardless to transmit hiv to the guy because no blood to transfer. Semen concentrates hiv, saliva does not and not known to be in sweat, so licking armpits is ok.....:). So relax buddy, youre mostlikely just fine. But in the future wear a condom then youll worry less.

The BBBJ nazi

I'd err on the side of caution with this one. I've discussed this with a good friend who also happens to be a physician and his response was that there are no definate answers just yet, but that the sensible thing to do would be to assume a casual partner is infected (I think we all know you can't judge by appearance)....then ask yourself which acts you're comfortable indulging in without the latex.

If you're seeing a sp that provides bbbj....what do you really think the odds are that they've never been in contact with an hiv positive client? I've taken part in that activity before, but no longer.

BraD - you may not feel that the "clean looking" sp is a risk worth taking bareback if you saw her last client.

From http://www.gaylib.com/aids/aids22.htm :

Marcus Conant, a physician in San Francisco who sees a large population of AIDS patients, emphasizes, "You have to ask what is meant by 'low risk' - which does not mean 'no risk'. If you mean low, you have to decide what risks you are willing to take." Conant draws on the analogy of risks that people take every day: "On a California freeway you have a 1-in-4,000 chance of being killed; in a lightning storm, a 1-in-12,000 chance of being struck. A pregnant woman has about a 1-in-8,000 chance that her baby will have a severe birth defect. The risk of getting HIV from oral sex is clearly lower than 1 in 4,000 but whether it's lower than 1 in 12,000, I don't know.

My notes: the above does not mention if the odds are aimed at the recipient or the doer of oral sex.

I'm sorry folks,

but you CAN'T tell if a person is a card carrying member of the, STD- infected Club, just by looking at them. That's fucking sadder than saying anyone darker than the colour of khaki are terrorists and will blow your head off at the sight of a Caucasian, typically Americans.

Don't live in fear, just be responsible! Be educated. The likeihood of Tofuboi getting an STD by this manner is low but NOT non-existant. The likeihood of the SP getting infected with just about any STD in this manner, wells it's pretty damn high.

Here's a story, girlfiend hadn't had sex in twenty years and then the first time she did in two decades, she's gets chlamydia.

Besides, there are other STDs other HIV to be concerned about. Syphilis, which has been on the rise amongst SPs lately, has reared it's ugly head after a rest for fifteen years. An STD that has been proven to be spread even though symptoms aren't present. Scary shit, man. Sure it can be cured, but an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
