Delta
1965 Comet, "lady driven", with the smallest engine Ford made for it (a small straight six IIRC). You could hide a peewee hockey team in the unused space in the engine compartment.

What the heck, it was in great shape for being 10 years of age, had very low mileage, and I was going to university and needed reliable transportation for a loooong commute.

!957 plymouth fury factory experimental, bought from a military police detective, speedo went to 150 mph, but 135 was most it would do. Blew the crankshaft out of it,found out years later only 14 ever made.

Way down south in the Okanogan
1941 Chevy 4 door. Paid $50 and $100 for insurance.

One back fender was banged in so I took it off ( 6 bolts) and tried to pound it out. Started with a rubber mallet and ended up using a 8 lb sledge hammer to get the job done. The body had to have been made of at least 1/8 th steel !! Had 6 chicks sitting on the roof and front fenders once in a parade and not a dent.

The back seat was like a couch with lots of leg room....sure miss that in these new cars LOL
