This can happen anywhere to anyone. I believe you will not be questioned in a hotel unless you look lost, then staff are trying to be helpful. In other words they don't 'know' you are going to see a lady.

If someone asked me where I was going and I had to say something it would be 'I'm just waiting for someone thank you'. I may even ask to use their restroom.

If you state that you are coming to see someone only do so if you know their first and last name as that may be the next question they ask. The whole idea is not to draw attention to the lady.

I understand that you can't control the nerves but knowing what to say and do in this situation will prevent any 'crises' from occurring.

Hotels are great because they are often quiet with no neighbours and provide fresh linen and towels. It is also difficult to find apartments. I do not use Airbnb.

If visiting a hotel is a deal breaker for you then ask this question first. If it depends on the hotel, know that some have back doors or some can be entered through the restaurant. Just ask the lady before scraping the date!

Or if staff approach, you can always pretend you don't speak English!!! ...kidding.

But seriously, I have never been questioned in any hotel -no matter if I was going to see someone or If I myself was staying there.

You can always ask the lady directions on how to get to the elevator in advance, if your unfamiliar with the hotel. If you act like you belong there, nobody should bother you.

order a pizza, bring it to the hotel, act like you are just a delivery guy

you could do the empty box as ruse as well I suppose, believe it or not I have done something similar to this

had some chinese take out I was bringing for the provider as a gift, was confronted in the lobby of the apartment building by some woman who was out to bust this provider, gave her a confused look and held up the food and said I was just a delivery guy

she turned red and walked away without a word.... a week later that provider was bounced out of there and much fanfare about asian drug gangs circulated afterwards

in any case, try and find an innocent reason to be dropping something off to someone and it might give you some confidence re a potential awkward situation

If you're having a date visit your hotel and you don't want to give her your name, have her stand in a specific area and go down and meet her. If you're visiting her in a hotel, have her come and meet you in a specific place. It avoids the "last name of the guest please, sir" situation. If the front desk is aware they'll likely know the woman is a sex worker. For the most part, they really don't care provided you're quiet & there are no issues.

If you're a woman working in a room with multiple visiting clients, DO ensure housekeeping can replenish towels, soap, etc on a daily basis. The minute you request no towels or cleaning it automatically raises suspicions of what's happening in the room. This is especially true if the occupant is a female (refusing towels and cleaning it not likely). Hotels want the money from SP's as much as the next guy. What they don't want is a situation that disturbs other guests. Play it conservative & respectful and you'll have nothing to worry about.

Millions (?) of men visit hotels everyday. This thread is for them. I mean, some men are so comfortable they could do cartwheels through the lobby and go unnoticed!
From my own experience, I've never been questioned by hotel staff when visiting an SP at a hotel. I've actually had numerous hotel door men open the door for me and greet my politely. If the SP is staying at a hotel that doesn't require the room card key to access the floor, its never been an issue. Just enter the hotel and head for the elevator, in many cases, no one will even notice you. Good to give the vibe that you're staying at the hotel and you know exactly where to go in the hotel lobby and common areas.

When room card key is required to access the hotel floor, usually the SP will come down and get you, hopefully you and her will be discreet, sometimes hotel guests and staff are busy so they may not notice a thing; if the SP is hard not to notice (example: she has massive fake tits that fit into a G-cup bra), it can be awkward especially if there are other hotel guests in the elevator - a pooner friend told me about how a male hotel guest was rudely gawking at the SP in the elevator and at him (the guy in the elevator should have just minded his own business!), I was just glad that I've never had a situation so strange but on one occasion the SP came down to get me in the lobby and the elevator was packed on the way up, this female hotel guest had a funny expression as the SP was quite mature with huge fake jugs.

One occasion where the hotel required card key access, the SP just asked me to go to the front desk to get a room key to head up to her room and it worked perfectly fine.

On another occasion, I entered the hotel lobby, the SP was in plain view (and she really stands out with her big fake tits and kind of slutty look), and hotel staff and guests in the lobby noticed, but they just went about with what they were doing and no one said a word to us which is what it should be.

If the SP is visiting me at a hotel, I will usually only pick a hotel that doesn't require the room card key in the elevator.

.....I walk into a hotel ( Sutton ) ...concierge knows me, wants to know if I'm picking up somebody. Told him I was in to get laid....he asks which one...my response, how many are there....He replies 3...and rattles off the rooms. You really think thes people don't know what's going on and who's inhouse.

I live on the Rock
A few years ago I was in edmonton & got a sp to visit the room.
Got a call from her about coming down to lobby.
Thought it strange, never the less went down to meet her.
Asked what problem was when we got back in elevator & she commented "key card"
Never even thought about it
Back to front desk as mine was in wallet
Got back to elevator & 2 guys giving me the nod as she wasn't really dressed as a tourist if you get my drift
No comment from staff though :)

You'd be surprised what some staff knows especially the veterans who've been in the industry for years. They notice the little nuances about people that others don't pick up on such as why a guy has camera equipment in a hockey bag (filming porn/child porn), etc. I've seen people be concerned about this for years, but there is no reason to be. Even if staff knows she's a working girl, they don't care what you do in your room as long as you don't disturb other guests. I would recommend you have her dress appropriately though.

Correct they do know, and if everyone is polite and peaceful they are happy to have you there.
I've owned many hotels/motels over the years.
Glad I don't any longer they are a PITA to own.
I stay at some regularly on business travel and regularly see an SP at them.
The staff do not care.
Well as front desk lady knows me well at a certain high end hotel.
After a few hours of fun one day the SP and I leave.
I offered to drive her home instead of taking a cab as I was going for dinner anyhow.
Well when I return I stop to chat for a minute with the front desk lady.
Who just as I say see yang later and am about to walk away, says I hope you don't mind me saying this....but she was really pretty and had a sweet smile this one today.....yesterday's gal looked almost grumpy coming in and still not too cheery leaving....but she usually looks grumpy when she is here...actually us Stafor nicknamed her Grumpy.

Yes they know....hotel staff are generally fairly smart people they are not idiots like politicians.

Just relax.

Nothing sticks out like a creepy guy trying not to be noticed.

The Golden Rule works really well, people. Smile at staff & engage them politely & appropriately & show true appreciation for everything they are willing to do for you. Tip housekeeping generously! Try to get a vibe for the place you're staying & fit into it rather than trying NOT to stick out.

not that I have had tons of experience with hotel staff,
but not a big deal.

unless you look like a homeless bum or lost, no one will bother you,
hotels usually have lobby and or pub and coffee shop.,
I go early settle in get a coffee or watch the game in the pub, until its time.

whatever you do look like you belong. failing the above, I sit in the lobby pull out my phone send some text messages. or read the paper.
no one will bug you if your not as nervous as a suicide bomber.

as a rule don't talk to any one, but if someone made eye contact and staring at you, keep it simple, its best to acknowledge them some how, a simple nod, or hi, the weather, ask the score in the game,
just don't be nervous.

my sp was late, once and I was left standing out side in the cold, some guy engaged me in conversation what the fuck you going to do, run and look more suspicious,, I was obviously waiting for someone, he told me all about his bike a harly just look relaxed, let him talk, I listen, never said anything but agreed with him great bike,

Once, because the hotel elevator required key card access, I met a guy in his hotel's lobby. He greeted me by saying "So nice to meet you, Claire!" -- wrong thing to do. It caught the hotel's staffs' attention undoubtedly. If I have to meet people in lobbies I instruct clients to act as if we're old friends with a hug and casual greeting.

I don't travel often for work but when I do stay at hotels I bring extra sheets and towels. It would look suspicious to request extra linens every day, possibly multiple times per day.

The way around this is simple Claire. Contact the front desk later in the day and request the houseman to bring up extra sheets for you. Front desk will radio the houseman & he will make the delivery. They'll think nothing of it because in hotels people make some crazy ass requests everyday. Or you can spill something & just call up housekeeping and ask for a spare set of sheets.

Depending on where in the world you are, staff are pretty nonchalant but still very watchful. I was chatting with a friend while she worked at a hotel in Singapore (ok, I was flirting desperately, all for naught, but i digress). Over the course of 20 minutes, 4 older guys walked thru the lobby to the elevators, each with a young girl on their arm. My friend took note, radiod security. I asked (very innocently) what was security going to do? Nothing, she replied. But they watched the girl enter and leave so of there was any trouble (injury or theft) they ensured it was noted on their tapes. No accusations or raids on rooms, just quietly ensured no further trouble occurred. Singapore turned a very large blind eye to prostituion in my experience.
