Ymmv?

Yes I know what the acronym means (acronyms driving me crazy these days btw) but I am confused by the context in which it's used. Yes, I am also new to the hobby and urban dictionary has helped me greatly but when I read some of the posts I find this term used for a wide variety of things.

What I do know is that it doesn't work when you use it like this: "Your cousin got caught doing it in YMMV (Your Mother's Mini-Van)."

If I could get some clarity as to the context of this acronym from the community that would help out a lot.

To me, YMMV is pretty much common sense and kind of pointless to add. Just because one person had a mediocre experience with an SP, doesn't mean another person can't have an amazing experience with the same SP, and vice versa. They are humans too don't forget. Chemistry plays a huge part in the session. As does personal turn ons/turn offs.

I think it also has to do with connection/mutual attraction or even just circumstances (any issue the SP is dealing with that we aren't aware of). Treat an SP with respect and make an effort as well (just like you would with someone outside the hobby). Great sex only happens on a two way street. It doesn't matter if you are paying for it or not. You can have a lot of fun, but you'll have even more if she's into it as well. It's one of the ironies of this hobby.

Connection, mutual respect, and the motivation for both to have mutual fun makes the date successful IMHO.

Ironically, I think it's the guys who go in looking for the most VFM or 'value for money' are sometimes getting the short end of the YMMV stick.

Ymmv applies to hygiene and basic cleanliness, especially with bbbj or other more intimate activities, greek might be ymmv… Freshly showered smelling like mint and soap is a good starting point. Thank God most sp.'s have showers!

Ymmv can also apply to certain activities, digits is a huge ymmv for me, done gently and respectfully it can be very enjoyable… Sharp nails is a hard limit fold me, and aggressive touch does nothing for my kitty, so pet the pussy nice to make it purr, and we are all good!

Some clients may be reluctant to book with an sp who is ymmv, it is for our protection from situations we find distasteful, such as an intoxicated guest, poor hygiene, serious issues we encounter at any time we feel threatened by, etc… Both parties have to enjoy themselves to some extent, if you start with a well-reviewed sp you will be guaranteed a good time for the most part. We are not in this industry because we are prudes, so if you are visiting, do your part and we'll do our part! Respect our limits and do not try and push them! It is a huge turnoff for the entire session the person keeps asking you to allow them to do this or that, when you already told them "no" a million times, and it's not a role play!
