Unfortunately, they are sending a skeleton crew of a lineup for the game.
If I lived in Terrace, I would be pissed off. (Mostly because I live in Terrace
)
I assume ticket prices are similar to their regular price in Vancouver, so they are really getting shafted.
They should have sent at least a few notable players along, instead of a bunch of guys who will be playing for The Victoria Salmon Kings this year. Shirokov and Bieksa are basically the top draws.

I don't understand why they can't play the last pre-season game in Terrace, instead of the first. So they can see the starters at least. It wouldn't hurt the Canucks, as season ticket holders and icepack holders already have to buyout 95% of the preseason tickets.

Maybe they are setting it up to let Tavares have a huge night in his home town.
The tickets were free - they gave them out by lottery.
It doesn't bother me that they are icing a "prospects" team, because a number of those prospects have a real chance to spend at least part of the year on the "big" team.
