I'm thinking I might plan on another visit to Edmonton in January but I have some concerns...

The Good news about my first visit is:
The guys I had the pleasure of meeting were totally awesome... Every single one of them was wonderful (thank you guys! )

The Bad news is: half my bookings cancelled or no-showed

I tend not to book by phone last minute because I prefer that the gentlemen I meet with are clearly informed about me, what I'm about, my preferences, my hostess style, my restrictions etc...

That way there are no disappointments and ensures great experiences for all

I guess pre-screening beforehand for short notice visits is an option

It doesn't make sense that a few bad eggs should spoil it for the good guys but I'm not sure how I can make this work

question #1: What part of town is a good location to find me?
question #2: How do you feel about a small booking deposit? ($100?) so at least my hotel and airfare is covered in a worst case scenario
question # 3: Is January even a good month to visit or should I wait until February, March or spring?

Any insight , comments or advice would be much appreciated because I'd love to visit Edmonton again
