I have never been to Tavern United, is it a place where you sit back have a relaxing drink and chat?

Just to get us back on track....
the dates I had suggested were the 27th (Tuesday) and the 30th (Friday)
but don 't let me stop you from getting together on the 23rd but I think Zoe can 't make that day.
Tavern UNITED (thank you for that correction) I was thinking of was the one on Hargrave (Downtown) a central location for everybody especially the ladies.
I have never been there either (but thanks for all the wonderful research that came piling in)
So why don 't we take a vote (I think the ladies votes would take precedence) as to who can make it on which day?
Let 's get this rapped up quick (the 27th is rapidly approaching)

Dec 30th at Tavern United downtown, will be the date and place for the Xmas drink get together.
If you are going to attend please post a reply so we will have an idea how many people are going to show up.
Now the fun part, how do we identify one another among the rest of the patrons? I will be bringing Sasha with me, so have a look at her ad on EC, so you will at least know what she looks like. (she looks alot better than her pics)
We won't be able to show up til 5:30 or 6:00.

Identification
To help identify perb members and the ladies (besides the obvious methods ... which while likely accurate could lead to potential embarrassment) the following might be a suggestion:
Whoever arrives first simply take a piece of paper, fold it in half and leave it in the middle of the table like a place name at a reception. Just leave it in the middle of the table. Nothing needs to be written on it.
People arriving should look around for tables with that sort of marker. Unless there is an origami convention in town you should be o.k.
My other suggestion would be that one of the ladies leave her high heel shoe on the middle of the table. That's a sure fire method!
