So I'm thinking of taking the plunge and starting off at either Xanadu or Lotus Beauty Spa since it is convenient for me. Couldn't find much on Xanadu here and it seems like Lotus Beauty Spa is a hit or miss. Just looking for some opinions on these two locations, or even if other places are more worth it. Prefer FS if possible but if it is just HJ or BBBJ and its worthwhile, I can consider that too. Thanks.

for about the same money as xanadu, I would go see coco at ispa on kingsway, east of boundry
might be a bit farther away but well worth it

I would strongly advise staying away from Xanadu for your 1st time. I've been there twice; once was mediocre and the other absolutely horrible. I know there are some people who go there and love it, but if it were me knowing what I know now I wouldn't want to take a flyer on a hit-or-miss place for my 1st time, what with all the nerves and everything. I would recommend driving a little further and hitting a guaranteed home run. Maybe talk to Tim McGee about Fox Den- he's a really helpful guy and if you tell him what you're looking for I'm sure he could point you in the right direction. If $$$+/hour for Fox Den is a little steep, for a more affordable alternative I like Great Pharaoh quite a bit, and while they do have some restrictions which are a major turn off for some people, the service is consistently good for what it is. GP has 3 really great girls there right now for sure (maybe more) in Andrea, Tori and Sofia. There are reviews for all of them here on perb, and they run at $190/hr. Beyond that is Atlantis in Richmond, who generally keep a pretty nice line up and have fair value as well.
