That credit card example is actually a pretty good idea if you need to get rid of ID safely. I'll have to remember that as I don't have a crosscut shredder yet.

I highly recommend the GDC CC195......narrow design and relatively small foot print while still having a good storage and handling capacity.....also shreds CD's which it pretty damn cool to watch/hear

3 seconds and bye bye any data.
It makes very interesting patterns too.
