I'm perplexed - with the economy going sideways (if not down in some sectors) - why is it that we have so many new girls coming in asking $350 / $400 / $500 - wow! This is an unregulated industry (for the most part), the good thing is that problems like girls overcharging will eventually come to some kind of equilibrium. Either there's a market for them or they lower their price.
It isn't really your concern who is seeing them... How does it affect you if a 60 year old retired hedge fund manager is seeing them or a foreign student is seeing them?

Whom ever is buying all these over priced houses... and pay more then asking price..are the same people paying these rates.....
Chinese tradition is.... if it's a low price....then it must be cheap and not worth it.... if it's expensive..well no doubt it must be the best.....
For what I see...and my experience ...and having had several chinese gf... it needs to be a brand ...it needs to be expensive... if price is too low... well there is no way in he'll it can be quality....

As one of the new girls on here asking $350+ I thought I'd share with you how I came to those numbers.
Poonmiester references this as an Asian way of thinking where they believe the cost directly reflects quality and that is true to some degree but in my case I set my prices based on the clientele I'm hoping to attract. I am a very low volume provider with very limited availability as I have a full-time career. I understand that I could lower my rates and see a lot more people but that's just not what I'm interested in. I prefer to be selective & exclusive so that my clients know that they are the only person that has seen me that day and likely that week.
My analogy would be if you buy a Civic and pull up to any intersection, you will likely see another half dozen Civics, conversely if you pull up to the same intersection in a CLS63 the odds are greatly reduced there will be another one there. Exclusivity and quality sometimes does come with a price tag.
I mean no disrespect to any other girls or guys on here, but we all have our preferences and we are all on here with our own agendas.
There is nothing more futile than moaning about prices on PERB. There are SPs available in the Lower Mainland at every conceivable price point. Just decide what you are willing to pay for the type of service you want, and do your shopping in that category.

I can remember fairly ordinary-looking ladies in the Penthouse asking for $500 for an hour, thirty years ago. Then as now, that was out of my price range, so I never did discover what quality of service was on offer for $500 an hour in nineteen-eighties dollars.

In the Penthouse the only way to sell yourself was to dress up, go there, and wait and hope for the best. Some girls made over a thousand a night and nothing on other nights.
Now a girl can run an ad and carry on her normal routine with school or job. She doesn't have to prep until her perfect customer appears. No wasted time, and better earnings.

At the end of the day, it is still your choice to see or not see someone. Charging a higher price doesn't make you exclusive, choosing to see 1 or 2 guys a day does. Now, I am aware that it is the SPs decision and right to set her rate and I know it's not my position to judge what said SP decides to choose for rate. I either see or don't see. The basic underlying parrallel is that all SPs offer the same thing regardless of rate. #chooseyourownworth 
The sort of story that has me questioning do I really want to continue risking my health.
I wouldn't be surprised if there's a guy behind that hoping for a sucker to take the bait.
Either way I wouldn't be paying 300 for her deformed ass, nice tits though
