WPS to be arranging meets?

I'm not sure about the setting of meets, but the WPS is definitely checking on SPs to make sure they aren't being abused or are underage.

I saw a very well know SP a couple weeks ago that I have become pretty friendly with. She told me a few days previous she had an unannounced knock at her door. Two cops. They knew what she was doing and had no problem with it (the SP didn't deny anything). They showed her a few pictures to make sure she wasn't a suspected missing person, asked some general questions about her life in the business and went on their way.

This will &/or is the soon to be norm, the police checking on the ladies to make sure they are not being pimped, abused in any way (physically, mentally, emotionally, financially), and to probably start to gain trust within the ladies' side of the industry. Kind of like a "we know what you're doing, we just want to make sure you're ok, and every other SP is ok as well. Here is a card, if you run into trouble, or hear of someone who is in trouble or causing trouble for any of the ladies, give us a call. We are here to help."
Maybe not those words, but to that effect. The same as when the police talked to the streetwalkers, making sure they were ok, WPS will probably/is probably doing this as well.

How do we find out if the ads are real or not, or if the ladies are even in Winnipeg?
You dont think LE knows of the same sites & procedures, as well as their connections within the federal law community? Seeing if a lady from Montreal, who claims to be in Winnipeg has warrants, or has any problem that is not known to us non LE people?

I realise they have all the same and probably more resources than we do...and like we know, it is a moving target. I guess they would have to actually physically go through the ads, set up a date and go visit the girl. At least they have badges and guns if things get ugly when it isn't the same girl as in the ad, not that it matters, and the chicken ass pimp comes out to muscle them. At that point WPS wouldn't care, they're busted.
