WPD Visits

It would appear that one or more the Winnipeg establishments was visited by Wpg officials this afternoon. One hopes it was just licensing and by-law checks.
Still the sight of 5 or 6 blue and whites in and around Ellice Ave. is not pleasant.

If anyone has any more intel, please share through public or private messaging.

Holy @#$&. I was driving by around 12:30....was actually going to stop in and I got a call on my cell from my office and kept on driving. Who knew my job would save me from that.

That's the Winnipeg Police Service if you please. A much kinder, gentler group for the new millennium (if you buy that hogwash, that is . . .). :p

Yeah, they were servicing themselves at the MPs :D

So much easier for the cops to do the soft touch of harassing ladies at MPs, or handing out tickets for stupid new moving violation laws, than actually doing the hard work of preventing homicides.

I should open an MP north of Higgins. It would never get harassed cuz the cops are afraid to go there. :p

5 or 6 cars x 2 per car = 10-12 of Winnipeg's finest to do what???..license checks??? ......how many city inspectors rush in to a restaurant to do inspections, and checks for code violations??..how many building inspectors rush into a building to do building code inspections?....how many of them have bellaclavas hiding their face???......hmmmmmm.........why why why???....I really thought that the court decision in Ontario may slow this practice down , however it looks like instead they've ramped it up.......until this is finally hashed out in court , and local authorities decide the mp's are ok....we can expect more of the same......then depending on final outcome in supreme court....either it will all go away....or they will have a nice case/history built up to cause everyone grief.....its a shame!!!..Makes me want to run out and get a nice massage...NOT!!

This is why I stay away from parlors. I am tempted, but usually the big head wins out over the little one. Despite what some threads have been saying we have some excellent local and touring talent that I visit over going to an MP. Much safer and there is no knock on the door after 60 minutes.

I agree. I stopped going to Nevada since their last visit. It was few months ago. They are stepping it up the number of visits. I heard it used to be once a year thing before.

I can't speak for the "new one", but have since found out that Ellice was also visited.
Yes, there were about 7 from WPS involved - No escape from the back either.
No reports of battering rams fortunately. :thumb:

Was is both Neveda and EB? What about the new MP?

G.C., management did knock on the door of the hotel room once and asked her (and of course, by extension, me) to leave. But there were only two of them, they were polite and smiling, and not wearing balaclavas. And I think they were unarmed, too.

So far, there have been ten responses to the OP's request (this is the eleventh), and not one has provided any useful info. Does anyone actually know what happened and which establishments were visited? It sounds like EB/TO was visited this time, but were any others also visited?

Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
It is too bad that valuable police resources are being deployed in this fashion.
It is also too bad that they are likely having their desired effect which is to frighten guys into staying away.
Like I've said before. If I was Eric (oooh, a chill just ran up my spine:eek:) I would simply put up a couple of cameras outside the front and back doors. At first sign of any cops, you flip a switch which turns on a series of red lights in all the rooms and even a bell that goes "DING" to get everyone's attention. When the ladies see the light they get dressed, the dude gets his underwear on and when LE walks in the guy is getting a nice relaxation massage from a pretty gal. That's all.
If pooners knew such a system was in place that would save them from an embarrasing situation at best, they'd keep coming.

police went in and it wasnt the usual liscence check. everyone even if they were just a desk girl was fined 1200$ and told this would keep up until they got the picture. they made it clear theyre working on shutting these places down for good.

Is this their way of filling the quota of fines per month or more????
And LE wonders why so many are disgusted with them and have no faith in them!! Losers!!!

As everyone may have guessed by now, I don't have one shread of respect left for the law. And they are probably monitoring everything we say here. Fuckem.
They should be wearing skirts. They're just meter maids. Haven't done a very good job on the highway of tears or the other assortment of serious crimes out there.
Can you imagine how much thet would have to downsize the juditial system if they legalized pot or stopped giving out bumfuck quota tickets all day.
I could go on, but they are a wastet of my time and a waste of space on the planet. Ever notice how many of these sedan jockey's are obese?

Can youimagine if every lady was fined 1200! Many of them don't get that many clients, so how could they ever pay their fine? How would they even pay off smaller fines? The ladies would not be forced to quit the business as working at a 'regular' minimum wage job would never help them get out of that debt. LE would just be forcing the ladies to be more involved in the business - maybe negotiating higher fees for more services or getting involved in some type of criminal activity - how is that making the city a better place? Dumb, dumb, dumb!! Getting to be one of the worst cities ever
