Their main business is medium duty trucks and buses for the Indian and SE Asian market. With the way the economy is growing in Indian it's going to be almost as hot of a consumer market as China. I have also read that the overseas market is where GM is making most of their profit these days.

LOL At $2500.00 I don't think we will see them here for awhile.
Chinese automaker Chery is stating to sell cars in Europe and is looking at North America but had to upgrade the cars a lot to bring them in line with what westerners expect in a car. I'm not talking stuff like a Nav system or CD player but more like cloth seats, a radio and more than 60 HP. Meeting North American emissions and safety standards is going to add $$$ as well.
They are also looking for a company to partner with so they don't have to build a dealer network but instead for eg. sell their cars at a Ford or Mazda dealer under a partnership.
I thought this was the cheapest car

I guarantee there are a few guys here who would drive one just to free up more $$$ for pooning.should be a hit with the perb crowd.
