Charlee, I kind of know what you mean by this because this sort of subject a good friend of my mine chat from time to time. But, my answer to your question would be ---- yes and no. So, I won't cast a vote. There is a large amount of " EVIL" in this world that surrounds us --- more than what we should be expose too imho .....we're in 2021!! Anyway, I would like to believe that there is still some good that surrounds us. For me personally, excluding my mom and dad, I have friends that when I needed them they came through with help. So, in that respect, I would vote no. Outside of that, negative, exposure in the media, murders, rapists, criminals, people in high power abusing their powers that take advantage of the little people, refusing to solve poverty etc, etc.....in that case, yes. Those people are the worst viruses. Hope this makes sense.

Sadly, I think we all can be motivated to push the button from what we’ve learned from Milgram’s experiment in the 60s. Chimpanzees have been shown to demonstrate compassion. Perhaps a bit more than “evolved species” such as humans.
I watched a couple of episodes of this. Or something like it. In about 500 years the oceans would be repopulated. The forests would have grown back. Bison would cover the plains. Looked pretty good actually.
Who wants to volunteer to be judge, jury and executioner ? Who would have the moral ground ? Not me
