Americans have a rep for being bad dressers and thanks LA Kings for showing us that sterotype is pretty true. How can a grown man wear flip flops/sandals to a championship celebration. In Europe most teams have the players wear a nice clothes under the jersey in celebrations. These guys looks like they work in a pawn shop. As a adult I wouldnt even wear sandals to a mall.

I don't get your point at all. A lot of the L.A. Kings are Canadian.

Honda is from the states if I remember correctly. Most Americans are unaware their hockey teams are mostly Canadian and Europeans.
They are shocked to find its not Americans on their teams.

I know Dustin Brown and Jonathan Quick are American. And I think there might be a few others.

FWIW, these teams have PR, Media, and Event Handlers that control every detail of public appearances like this. It's already been pointed out that they usually wear suits (and look DAMN good in them) when arriving at the arena. Whoever was in charge of this event decided on a "Casual Friday" dress code, probably to make the players seem more down-to-earth for the fans.

That's exactly why I said this is a stupid thread. Most of us don't care. It's no big deal on how they wear as long as it's visually acceptable.
They don't "serve" the public. They "entertain" their fans.
