Dry up and blow away if women gave sex more freely than they do?

I mean like, your wife would want to screw your brains out like she was a teenage boy, or sex on first dates was normal and easy, or like everyone would be happy to have NSA sex all the time, and jealousy (on both the male and female side) wouldn't be an issue?

I realize all of what I'm suggesting is fantasy, but would it reduce demand for SP services?

I mean really, there's fundamentally no reason for there to be more demand for sex than there is supply because there's more women than men. If anything, men should be the ones that are paid, not women on this basis, but we all know that's not the case.

What shift in the supply demand balance of sex would make prostitution preposterous? The only reason that it exists, or exists to the extent that it does is that the demand exceeds supply and that imbalance is exploited by SP's who works towards filling the demand for sex that is otherwise unmet, which is weird because there's enough women to go around.

So what gives?

it would just drive the average price down brotha. you can make a pizza any time but sometime you just wanna order one cause it's easier, often better and costs you less than making one to sometimes

I don't think it would change anything. Guys in general like variety. They may not want to start up an extra-marital relationship so SP is a safe/easy alternative to get their "kicks". I think many guys would not WANT a wife who always wanted sex. My two cents.

Actually, the point being that if NSA was that easy (and realistic)... and your wife/gf/mistress was wanting and willing to do it more often, then yes... there would be ALOT fewer guys looking to pay for it.

They'd get the variety out of the NSA/mistress... simply because there would be no difference between hiring someone and that... sex without emotional attachment. Without trouble... although, I imagine the SO might still have some issues with it.

You'd still have the guys that are socially akward... guys that just can't seem to connect... looking to hire for the occasional hour of physical contact.... but that's about it.

Ouch......Exploit.......REALLY????

I look at relationships between men and women and can easily put them into two categories....the formal and informal economy. (and yes, I am aware that this is largely generalized and that there will always be exception)

In the informal economy, you have a wife, you may or may not take her out to dinner, drinks, buy her gifts etc. When you take her out somewhere special often you get *special* treatment in return. In this informal economy you are not sure *how much* it will cost to get her to wear a pair of stockings and that garter while you fuck her ass - it may be something as small as remembering to pick up her dry cleaning from the store (10 bux), but it may also be something as large as dinner for two at Gothams or a romantic weekend in Tofino (much more than 10 bux....).

Then there is the more formalized economy (of which is apparently exploitative.....although I am not sure I agree) You see an SP and you know that to get her to put on a pair of garters and tap her ass will cost you 200 an hour plus the greek island surcharge of 100.

So I guess the way I look at it, I don't think the sex-for-stuff will ever go away, in fact its always been around and always will be around, its more a question of what type of economy it will look like ;)

You could have sex with your wife without buying her a gift because the sex in a committed relationship is built on more than just money and prizes.
You are right, sometimes its about fixing the leaky faucet in the bathroom and taking out the garbage ;)

But just the fact that it is your wife/gf/mistress would mean that its not NSA.:p

Firstly,

muffineater, your frustration is exactly why this biz continues to prosper.

If the unequal distribution of men-women ratio was tipped in men's favor (more men to women ratio), a man may never get laid! This is human nature, Freudian, evolution/natural selection, whatever you want to call it.

But, women are hard-wired differently. No matter being a specialist or rocket scientist.

We prefer an emotional connection. This is probably why I choose to be low-volume, charge a little more, have less traffic, and divulge more of myself and my energy to few and far between.

It allows me the opportunity to offer a great GFE session, but still maintain NSA. I've already implemented this method with my previous fuck-buddies. We both communicated the desire for NSA, to each other. This allows both of us to remain on the level of satisfaction. Not only in sexual escapades, but enjoying each other's company, b/c there is no expectation or clinginess lingering.

The suggestion that being a specialist/pooner denotes trauma in the childhood, is a common misconception. We are all on this planet. Life is more than tough at times, but not ONE person is exempt from experiencing the ups and downs.

Every single psych course that I took, reminded me that we are composed of both nature/innate characteristics (what you were born with), and nurture (how you were raised/life experience.)

To say that being a specialist/ pooner is directly related to childhood trauma is incorrect. That's only stating the 'nurture' aspect of life, and not taking into regard our basic chemical drives.
