One thing I noticed is the lady kept engaging by replying to his texts. This just feeds the masochistic personality. He thinks he's getting to you and he thrives on the attention. Some deranged minds feed off of getting under your skin. This is how they get off, probably because they are impotent. My advice, and I'm not a psychologist but have dealt with a few psycho bitches over the years, as soon as things go sideways, cut off all communication with the individual. Resist the temptation to put him in his place, because if you do, you are feeding his fetish and he will continue to harass you as long as you engage him. Believe me, by continuing to resist communicating with him, this will drive him nuts as he needs you to respond to continue his fantasy. By cutting off all communication with him you will hurt him more than if you call him out.
I like this feature much better because just in case I wanted to unblock someone, or see if they were still texting me, I could see. I'm a creep like that, so Android is perfect for me, I understand iOS is different, so I'd probably never use that. Call blocking is the same though, it blocks calls and you never have to know if they called, but the number storage file is there.
