Holy Crap. "Waterworld" - This piece of Kevin Costner Crap was on Sunday and every so often I'd flip over to watch, dumbfounded at how truly, truly, truly, truly awful it was. I remember seeing it in a theatre when it came out and thinking it was the worst movie I'd ever seen and even in snippets it was confirmed. Got me thinking what you guys think are the worst movies. Costner's The Postman and "I Am Curious, Yellow" are also right up there. Almost anything with Tom Cruise (yes, MI 1,2,etc etc), JLo or Madonna.

Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy

That show was so bad, I watched 15 minutes of it and returned it to the store and demanded my money back. Singing, talking and dancing dolphins just aren't my thing. I guess had I been sniffing some form of highly toxic glue, I may have understood, or perhaps even enjoyed the show.
I would have rather than have sat through a 2 hour texticle waxing, followed by a sponge bath in paint thinner, than to have watched more than 15 minutes of that movie.

Any Stephen King movie. I haven't seen one movie that is even remotely close to the book version. And the acting ALWAYS sucks.

Beaches (with Bette Midler) I once had a female friend force me to sit and watch that show. It was like nails on a chalkboard the whole way through it. The things we will suffer through for a piece.

yeah i've never seen even a bit of the movie but if its anywhere near as bad as the book it must have really sucked cause people always say that the book was better.

i gave it a good honest try to read that book cause people kept saying that it was so good and all. i thought it was complete shit. such a waste of read when i think of what i could have been reading.

as for worst movies............................... off the top of my head, lets say coyote ugly. not so much cause it was just bad but it had the most deceiving ad campaign i have ever seen. they dressed a chick flick up as a guy movie. i went to the theatre to watch it and painfully sat through it.

Dude, ever heard of "The Shining" or "Carrie" or "Misery"? You must be drunk. I would love to hear what movies you do like. Gigli, Ishtar or Braveheart? How about one of those awesome Vin Diesel movies? Maybe Pauly Shore will make a comeback for you.

Ocean's 12 ... it's got the all star cast, big budget and beautiful locations but just terrible storyline. Complete waste of time watching it.

I personally thought that it was good. The laser dance scene was worth the price of the movie alone ;).

The remakes of The Longest Yard and The Bad News Bears are recent shit-flicks. There are soooo many though.

Awesome movies are We Were Soldiers, Men Of Honor, Saw, Saw2. All really good movies. Stephen King movies are just lame. Carrie, I can handle.

Lucky Number Sleven. The critics liked it but I thought it was awful. I kept debating whether to walk out or stick with it. I mistakenly stuck with it.

I agree with Waterworld, Postman, and anything with Madonna or J.Lo but when you start attacking Tom Cruise then that's where I draw the line. You can't run down Maverick, Lt. Kaffe, Ethan Hunt, Jerry Maguire and Mitch McDeere! I won't have it. Next you're gonna say "Fonzie" was a shitty sitcom character.....

Hahaha... don't forget John Anderton in Minority Report, Joel Goodsen in Risky Business, and Brian "young" Flanagan in that movie Cocktail!

I'm not a fan of the real life Cruise (it's been all downhill after Nicole Kidman... Penelope Cruz, Katie Holmes? C'mon Tom, u can do better), but the characters he plays are definitely entertaining.

One of the worst movies ever is Be Cool... after Get Shorty was so good, Be Cool was absolutely terrible... It made me wanna Be Dead.

Stand by Me and Shawshank Redemption are 2 other successful King movies. Worst movie ever? Get Carter with Sylvester Stallone.
