Hey all I have a question about the World strongest men show, which is that how come they do not appear in the olympics ? or do they ? cause whenever i watch the show it seems the stuff they do is crazy. I mean power lifting for them should be no big deal right ? but how come i never recall any of the world strongest men compete ? (sorry for the english, cause it ain't my first language >.<)

One word, drugs. I doubt many of are clean.
I'd imagine that most have done something or other at one point in time to get that big. I doubt the olympics would want to get involved.
actually, a lot of them do weightlifting and powerlifting but they
are no longer competitive so they go into these competititons

There have been a few. There was a British Shot putter Geoff Capes who won it in the 80's and Gary Taylor won it in 93 he also won a silver in weightlifting in the 84 Olympics. But most of them are Powerlifters which is more about brute strength where the Olympic sports require more technique. I don't think the drug issue has that much of an effect there haven't been any successful Track or strength event atheletes at the Olympics in the last 25 years who didn't use Steroids full time.
