Canada's been pretty fortunate. Tokarski hasn't been solid, and their defencemen break down in their own zone too often.

That sure was exciting to watch, though. Can't believe Sergei Nemchinov didn't have his ace sniper up in the shootout. Guess he's not any smarter as a coach than he was as a player

Canada has their hands full with the Swedes - who are a better team than the Russians.

The Russian kid who missed the empty net has got to be feeling pretty rough, he could have put it away by putting in the effort to skate to center before he took the shot.

IMHO Canada had a little luck last night, but you need that sometimes. The game on Monday could be good.

I am not sure if tonight's game can live up to the drama and intrigue from the past two but I think momentum is on Canada's side.

I think the defence needs to be more accountable along with the goalie, especially since they are carrying 8 d-men this tournament. Ellis and Subban have been great but the rest need to step it up.
