Who do you think will win the world cup of hockey

I personally like Sweden and Canada to meet in the final.
The problem is Sweden has to play the Czechs in the quarterfinals, while Finland has a easier date with the Germans.

Canada has a chance to go undefeated tonite in the tourney against the Russians and play the Slovaks in the quarters.

Prediction: Sweden to win

My first pick would be Canada.

Second i would say Finland.

Okay guys Finland you say. Start laughing but i have seen all of there games and they are looking good. With Kippy in net and there strong defence. Well 4 goals against Sweden wasn't very good...a minor set back. I say all countries participating have to watch out for the Fins. --- Kev

I am going with canada they have far too much depth but the main reason why is they have the goaltending brodure is the man thanks

I'm with Kev, Canada over Finland. I would have said Sweden if they had any goaltending....

I would have said Finland to come out of the European Pool, even before today's game - they just look great, and they have Kiprusoff.

But Canada beats 'em in the final. No one even really comes close to Canada before that.

The scary thing Chief is anyone of those European teams can pick it up a notch. Czechs Russians Swedes all have potential. But i still am going with Canada and Finland final.

I still don't think anybody but Finland has a goalie who can outdual Brodeur...but in a one game, winner take all....I guess you never know.
