Oh ok. I've known people with MA degrees have very good careers but I believe it depends on the discipline which the person has studied, for example, a MA in Psychology, Counselling Psychology or Social Work can help someone to become a psychotherapist, and a psycotherapsit can make a lot of money. I knew a guy who had a MA in Social Work, he made over $80,000 per year. A MA in Sociology or Criminology can easily get someone into the supervisory position in the government, e.g. RCMP, Citizeship & Immigration and etc.
As for MA in other subjects like philosophy, English literature... I'm not sure.. perhaps one can become a professor with those.
