Winnipeg is not the only city developing a pooning name for itself

I find it interesting how so many people bash Winnipeg pooners for so much. I've always felt we really are not that different then other cities. We are men who have a need that we want filled. Granted there are some who are just assholes and do whatever. My issue is the bashing that goes on about Winnipeg, only in Wpg do pooners cancel, only in Wpg do pooners try and lower rates. Give me a fricken break.

I read this thread on Caf that shows it is not only Winnipeg... So lets all move forward and do our best guys we are better than Calgary here is what was posted:

So Britney and I decided to go for a short notice trip to Calgary! We thought that if no one books at least we got to stop at the doughnut mill on the trip love that place. We advertise 2 days before we go with no expectations.

We end up booked solid! What!? So exciting to have fun in Calgary!!!

So we decide that not only are we gonna get a nicer hotel than planned. ( we were gonna go cheaper in case no one booked) but we also grab special treats for the caf members who booked.

hungtothemax - booked 3 hours and we thought. This could be fantastic, we will get a jacuzzi room, breakfast ( to keep up the strength ), some drinks just in case any of the boys wanted to ease themselves before losing all energy for the day! And last but not least a printed off picture of the two of us girls signed. ( it was nude) <----- and then he not only no showed but when I contacted him he didn't even take the time to cancel. ... Prick. I mean at least have the decency to cancel or don't book 3 hours of someone's day. The idiot even sent pictures of himself!


So, we decide that we now have 3 hours and a pre run jacuzzi. Might as well jump in right? While in the bath we posted an ad for non caf members. And many were interested so we jump out of the bath for our next booking ( not caf) and once again no shows. But not just a regular no show. The no show kind that text he was running 10 min behind then calls and says he's behind an accident then half hour later says he is just leaving home. Then says his phone died. Fuck my life I'm happy he did not so up! I probably would have jumped off my hotel balcony!


Sigh... We had 4 caf guys book , 3 non caf guys book and the truth!!!....

Not one showed. Not one canceled like a man. So it turned out to be a huge flop.

I mean if no one wanted to come see us, that is ok. But don't book!! We could have just enjoyed our trip to Calgary instead of being dolled up in a hotel waiting for the door that no one was coming too. How fucking rude!!


Calgary is the most ignorant place I have been too!

The "clients" are cowards who book and can't keep an appointment.
The drivers were riding my ass when I'm already doing 5-10 over.
The hotel desk clerk was so ignorant if I was a complete idiot I would have shot her in the face!
The cooks at the restaurant cant cook! My steak came back black and tough when I ordered medium well. And the salad was browning with old sauce on it. Yuck!!


All in all these moms who were late for their kids spent:

That's actually kinda funny. Their first clue should have been the guys handle hugetothemax. Chances are he's not showing up when it's the size of his pinky finger. Second clue he booked 3 hours with 2 women. Probably a kid or competing sp booked it. Imagine the 2 of them excitedly waiting for hugetothemax to show up lol. At least they had a sense of humour.

VJ I don't think you will need to worry about getting put in Perbatory I only posted this b/c we constantly here how bad the pooners are in Wpg, how this never happens anywhere else blah, blah. I think at the end of the day this sort of crap happens everywhere so hopefully people will stop pissing on us in Wpg lol

Damn!!! Just think how appreciative those ladies would have been to have a client show up!!!! Problem is that they had a full slate of fake bookings, so they would have been worrying about shooing you out for the next booking! I know some local ladies who had the same experience in Calgary last year when they had pre-bookings arranged for an exciting road trip (or so they thought) and almost every booking was a no-show. They had even borrowed funds in order to make a trip they thought would be lucrative.

I have never ever been a no-show and I know a lot of other Perbites have not, but there are some that have bragged they book more than one lady for the same time because they expect some SPs will be no-shows --- very selfish practice, no compassion for the conscientious SP whose time is being wasted and is also losing out on making some income. I am sure competing SPs are also arranging fake bookings, or have the booking done by a male friend. I can see why some touring ladies are asking for references - we all hate this idea but can see their point.

Best move I ever made was move back to Manitoba . I have never had an issue in Winnipeg . Smaller the town the better the people I say . Which is why I live in the sticks .

I find Edmonton a much better city than Calgary for pooning. People there are much friendlier also.
If someone thinks Calgary is better than Wpg they should go back there. Bye. (my opinion)

You should or move to Fort Mac where there is even more money and fewer SPs. My buddy can rent you a small bachelorette for $3500 a month. Four of you could stay there and split the rent. Utilities are extra though.

'Local talent' that disses everything local? What does she say about the Manitoba pooners when she talks to the SPs she might have contact with in Calgary? These low income Manitoba pooners!

The first time I went to a bar in Calgary, the ratio of men to women was around 8-1 or 9-1. I like that statistic HAHA.

But for SP's? Think about it! They have oil money there, more guys with more money to spend. That equates to a good city. Problem is that they're currently pretty saturated, it's no secret that it's "the land of milk and honey" as one SP said to me.

I will have to to assume you have not been around long enough to see the boom and bust days of Alberta.......when it happens they all start leaving like rats.

A good business person know there market and how to be successful in it. There is no sense in Comparing Winnipeg to Calgary or any other city like LA etc. It is all relevant you make more money it costs more money to live.


Manitoba is always been consider the "turtle" province slow and sure.

Cheap Manitobans, F'ed up Ft Mac guys!! I will continue investing at least $1500 a month into this hobby with ladies that appreciate the business and never diss the clients. Yes it is an investment as it keeps valuable assets in this terrible province! Love those local spinners we all value. I know of a number of local pooners that invest much more! Kudos to them.
