Got a PM from a well-regarded touring lady - who shall remain nameless - about a high number of cancellations this trip, even from her regulars and screened clients. Apparently this is the worst it has ever been. She is now inclined to spend even more time in Calgary and less time here.

Keissy Hennessy and Victoria Banks should feel validated when they read this.

Please guys, don't jerk the ladies around. I am sure most pooners want to maintain the greatest selection of visitors possible but flaking undermines this.

Some day we may all end up having to charter a bus to Brandon to get good pussy.

Its been a problem for touring ladies the past few years.
Between the eco-pooners, game players and the jealous crack ho's on BP and their pimps.

Seems to be worse for the ladies who advertise on BP.

If asked by any touring ladies thinking of coming here I usually tell them to become a paid advertiser here in PERB and only book PERB members.
It may cost a few bucks compared to the free sites but it weeds out the riffraff.
They don't spent their entire visit waiting for no shows or answering calls from guys requesting BBFS or $20 BJ's.
While some ladies may think our numbers are not large enough to keep them busy but I disagree.
If/When they get a great review like "Valerie The Frenchy", PERB members alone will fill their dance card.

I am not so sanguine, JB.

This lady does not advertise on BP, and it is her regulars and screened clients who were the source of trouble this time. The riff-raff were already screened out. She does have an advertising account. Hard to say if flakiness (not prank bookings) are the same or getting worse over the years, but more than a few ladies we all love are disgruntled right now. The ladies also observe that Winnipeg - and Edmonton - compare poorly to Calgary, where the clients are very reliable, numerous, book in advance as well as step up to fill fresh openings eagerly. Except for the matter of sheer numbers, the same seems to be true of Brandon.

Hey it's the nature of the Sales business. Anyone who has been in sales knows customers flake out all the time. Having said that it's not easy when customers lie to you all the time, only the thick skinned can take it and i am sure that's why many quit the business.

This isn't good. I travel for work and just happened to have been here when I started this hobby in July, so I don't particularly care about the Winnipeg scene. But it irritates me the lack of respect being shown. That trickles into actual sessions with providers if they are worried about getting stood up the rest of the day. And I wouldn't think it would make them perform better, the opposite since they wouldn't be focussed.

Treat them with the respect the deserve guys and you will receive at least as much in return.

That is odd if it was regulars.
I could tell Chrystal and Harley were concerned i might flake when i made the trip in. Figured they must have had some issues.
Still not cool, but i've been more surprised by the amount of providers that flake. I mean its their livelihood. Why would you want to risk bad press and loss of clients/income? Felina, Lacy, Leesha, Emmanuelle and that fat bitch from caf (Rachel?) just to name a few "well reviewed" providers off the top of my head. Leesha was the only one who even bothered to apologize, although months later.
I do not understand the lack of respect. On either side.

Rather than Brandy and sweetener, try port. A nice cheap ruby port, awesome finish.

I am very close to sealing the deal with Inna Jolie to come to the city at the Forks for a visit. A lot of spade work going on in the background to make things right, including addressing the client issues Winnipeg is known for.

One sticking point is she is having trouble setting up an advertising account with Perb. She's not getting the confirmation email, I have contacted Fred Zed for help. Mods, are you reading this? I have PMed Fred Zed with Inna's email account.

If she does decide to come please gentlemen, give her full support and respect. Polish your shoes, dry clean your suit, get those teeth straightened and gargle with mouthwash for three straight days prior. Attending the parade down Portage Ave. is optional.

We all deal with this on a regular basis and being a perb member doesn't guarantee an honest appt. Trust me. I would say in my experience 2/3 of contact never book and once booked there is a 50% of no show. Just my experience as a local. This also deters travelling
So kudos to travelling ladies and everybody should treat them right! Meaning tip, or just be super pleasant.

TIPS now really? The $200hh/$300hr+ isn't good enough anymore? It's starting to become pretty crazy. Not all of us are made of money! I don't make $300+ a hr. I don't really think tips should be expected even for great service. Great service should be expected at those prices!

I said tips or being super pleasant. Honestly, I'd say most ladies would prefer super pleasant/reliable booking over a 10 to 20% tip. Mind you, a tip is not a license to be an ass. Really, just be respectful in inquiries and booking and you can stick to quoted prices. If you expect dozens of "getting to know you texts" then tip. And if you no-show, hang your head in shame.
