Not always, some people grow out of things they enjoyed as a kid and find other avenue's of entertainment.
LOL. So following this logic, I guess all the people here who still play/watch the sports or still play video games or still enjoy watching movies like Star Wars or Back to the Future or Indiana Jones are childish or immature. Sort of seems to be the tone of your posts. Almost all of us poon and enjoy both things.

I think Hunka is a closet WWE fan and as we speak is playing with his old Hulk Hogan and Macho Man wrestling toys as we speak, trying to recreate Wrestlmania 5 :pound:

Raslin's a funny sport. I remember watching it as a kid when I lived in Regina. The Hart's, Junk Yard Dog, The Shiek, etc would roll into town. It was huge news when Andre the Giant make his why to Regina, and Brett Hart was something like 17 years old at the time. The Dynamite Kid was my favourite.

I stopped watching it when I hit my 20's and never thought about it much afterwards, until I heard that Tom Billington (AKA the dynamite kid) was in a wheel chair. Turns out that yes, wrestling scripted but you can't keep jumping off ropes, and other assorted activies without getting hurt. All that's required is to be a faction of a second late, or to land a couple of inches from where you'd thought you land. So fake or not, I have huge respect for these fighters.

If Shawn Michaels interferes in anyway, there will be asterisk on Undertaker's streak. It's better to get rid of HBK. Those 3 egos are too big for that one match.

The streak wont end. Thats takers thing and I dont think they'll take thatcaway from him.

I'll go out on a very thin limb and throw a curve ball and say that there will be outside inteference. Brock Lesnar maybe ? You all remember the MMA lesnar / taker run in ?

Thats my 2 bits. ;)

Dana White twittered today to say he will be watching today so maybe this isn't a bad idea???

Well, besides having good taste, Dana White can spot a winner when he sees one. The same way his group invested about $ 2M to buy the UFC which is now worth at least a BILLION. He's in Miami because he knows that Wrestlemania 28 is a winner as well. Time for him to bring XYIENCE to the next level and give Red Bull and Rockstar a run for their money.

Was a typical HHH match where he brought out the sledge hammer and chairs. Taker was getting the best of him up until that point. HBK was very impartial until HHH was gonna Babe Ruth Taker with the sledge hammer but Shawn grabbed it away. Over-all it was a good match with not knowing who would win until the very end ... the streak continues.

It's not real. It's sport entertainment, scripted, the results predetermined. And the Easter Bunny and Santa aren't real either....sorry.

Apparently the match stole the show, not surprising. Wouldn't be surprised if they both announce their retirements from wrestling either on RAW or in the near future. It seems both guys went out on terms they can live with and have nothing left to prove.

the crowd was sure hot for him when he came out. looks like he hasn't done any training since his last ufc fight. his arms were smaller and it looked like he had a gut going on.

I didn't see this Wrestlemania yet,but when a new super star enters the roster( returning) Brock Lesnar,he or she doesn't appear until after Wrestlemania. Like 2003 GoldBerg.

It could gp lower but I think at some point you will see it above $11. I still say thought, they have to somehow, reinvent the WWE brand.

Lesnars return as well as the ROCK....and who knows how many appearances Dwayne will actually make, remains to be seen. But all this should keep people attracted to the shows for now. If they do bring in more talent etc, it could improve.

But they need to advance the talent roster and brand and not rely on just " the attitude " era or past heros lets say. Just my opinion of course. :)
So true - that's one of the concerns of fund managers in Wall Street before they start investing heavily into the said stock again. Like the recent cell match in Wrestlemania 28 was probably the best entertainment that night and its great to see the Undertaker go 20-0 but the latter is now 47. Even though if Lesnar was one of the biggest cash cows of the UFC, I think WWE's bottomline will greatly improved with his presence and more PPV's viewers in future matches but he's no Hunger Games to Lionsgate. Vince McMahon is a great marketing guy, he will do his homework. His wife spent $ 20 Million to run for Senator in the last elections and lost in a close match against a veteran Democrat, maybe next time she'll make it.

The WWE has a subsidiary which is WWE Films ( those John Cena action movies ) which has a big potential for extraordinary returns for the holding company. The WWE just needs to appropriate a bigger budget for its film company so that it can produce bigger returns. One film franchise can make your day like Twilight or the Hunger Games.

I don't think UFC is working with WWE. It's two different sports and both need pay-per-view sales to flourish outside their weekly TV shows. I believe the UFC is studying how WWE is able to distribute and pay-per-view sales in foreign markets.

Did Batista ever went into the MMA?
Kurt Angle thought about going to MMA but he's closing in at 46.

I knew Bobby Lashley did with a lackluster results.
