Julian Assange is in big shit, with his own government denouncing him, but Ecuador has offered him asylum and new passport. I think he should move fast and stay put for a while rather than later. US is getting ducks in a row to fuk him up.
My opinion is mixed.
I like the fact that he keeps assholes in line a bit.
I love the site , however if it does give away war secrets being used against fuk head islamist states then he maybe stepping over the line.
but he is a saint to many.
whatca think?

Accepting asylum in a country well-known as a CIA playground and very much controlled by Big Oil might bring more excitement to the said Wikileaks founder. :) :)

Supposedly , it was a US army private that leaked the wad to wikileaks.
This thing is going to explode and implode this week.
I love it and would send Julian a donation for his defence or gettaway plane.

I feel sorry for old Bill.

I don't like this at all.

It puts a lot of people at risk who are either assets or working with assets in war zones. These people put their lives on the line and now they are exposed.

As far as the spy vs spy in the UN etc. I couldn't really give a shit. This stuff has been going on since the UN or League of Nations was formed.

Read some of the books about Kim Philby and the other Brits who betrayed the UK, Nato etc back during the Cold War. Same thing all over again but this time with the internet, the news is there in a flash. In those days governments leaned on print media NOT to publish insider information.

Quite frankly, I am quite surprised that the US Gov't hasn't taken the Wiki Leak site down yet. Pretty damn sure they would have the ways and means to do it regardless of where the IP is hosted.

I don't think any leak if it valid is out of bounds. Far too many rich people have invested a lot of time and money too make sure we are fearfull.
There is nothing to be afraid of except the power of the rich to make sure we are under there thumb. Mr. Assange probably also has areason to fear for his life and liberty now though. I'm sure cash will buy a lot of trumped up charges against him now that will net a lot of jail time in any Kangaroo court.
Remember manual Noriega? gee, He doesn't get much michrophone time does he.

Apparently he is going to release some damning information on a big US bank in the New Year. That is what I am more interested in seeing. Exposing some war secrets/espionage secrets could put peoples lives at risk, but I have nothing against exposing the big banks improper practices.

EDIT: But yeah, I hope this guy has a very good security detail, because it wouldn't surprise me if he has an "accident" in the near future...
