Why?

Today was an adventure, one i would have thought would never happen.

So in light of this adventure i must ask, why would a pooner/client ever want to expose an SP?

For those that may know my real name, what hobbies i have, or who i spend time with, why tell the world?

When i made the choice to work in this industry, i knew fair well that in using a face picture on my site would reveal who i am. I never expected that it would be used against me.

Pooners/clients expect a certain amount of discrection, And i have given each and every client that. In return, I ask for very little. I just ask for the same respect.

Today i was told by a good friend and past employer, that my site was sent to him. I was honest with him, and we chatted for hours about my choice.

I do not hide what i do, I don't live a double life, but on the same note, why does a client/pooner have the right to expose me?

Isn't an exposed SP a damaged one? I don't understand why an pooner/client would go through that kind of trouble?

If any of you can shine some light on this subject, comments, suggestions, or information. I would appreciate it.

To be a great SP, one needs to understand his/her clients. I would like to understand this.

I guess if your client was a little too close to you, had personal info about you, who you are in the outside world....for some reason or another he had the inclination to try to hurt you and destroy you....for what I can;t really begin to speculate as only you might know.

As a 'client', I don't have the right to 'out' you, or any other sp....to do so would out me and what is a very private and still (unfortunately) taboo hobby/pleasure. As a provider, you also don;t have that right to out a client.... I guess it's an ethical contract that goes unsaid.

I don't understand why someone would go through all that trouble, because that just opens up a Pandora's box. For everyone involved....SO's, Boss's, etc....family. I guess this person was going for some sort of control by damaging you.....btw, the world is a big place, and so is this city. Not everyone is going to know, so you won;t be 'damaged goods', if that helps.

Well, he doesn't have the right to expose you. He's obviously being petty and juvenile. A local SP in my town told me one of her former clients called Revenue Canada on her and got her into big trouble. After listening to escort's stories and reading some perb posts over the last year, it's obvious that a certain percentage of pooners are misogynists.

never said it was a past client, just said it was one, or at least a client that maybe working with an SP

and this past employer is a good friend of mine. I'm not crying victim, just looking for a logical reason for what happened

I'm not stupid, i have never given a client information about my workplace or my bosses name or email address.

How do you know it is a past client and not another SP?

Also what would this person gain by sending it to a PAST employer?
Also, I guess you are in the habit of telling people exactly where you worked and your boss's name and email address?

I don't know but if it were me, I would not reveal anything of a personal nature to a client and vice versa. I never mention anything personal to the ladies I have met in the past.

It may have happened for much the same reason that people perpetrate stupid practical jokes. Some people get some satisfaction from causing others embarrassment, discomfiture, whatever.

So sorry to hear of your experience. If you see no motive for retribution, I can only offer the possibility of child-like naughtiness. It would be a naive and inconsiderate act, but possible that someone thought they found out a secret about you and just couldn't keep it to themself. Why did my younger brother take great glee in tattle-tailing on me? Of course this doesn't make it right. Indeed I find it very distasteful. But you get great points in my book for having the courage to simply be curious about why someone would do this rather than spewing damnation across this site. The perp may have had other reasons, but in the absence of one I would presume a sense of insecure empowerment by a weak soul.

I hope your trust in clients is disrupted but not distroyed.
