why is "Trawler" not in the red??

PERB's Merit Award should go to. . .Trawler
I think I remember trawler's answer to this question - in that he doesn't drive a fancy car or own a fancy house. He devotes most of his disposable income to pooning and shares his findings with the rest of the community. Why begrduge him of that. He should be given the "Pooning Award for Meritorious Services" to the PERB community in Edmonton. I started this thread for the simple fact that I was wondering why some people on here get certain treatment from fred or the mods and why some don't. I have no axe to grind with Trawler( I wish at times I could be him from the reviews he makes), it was just a point I was making about how things are on this site, I have read many posts from "T" and always thought great things about his pooning exp. no "sp's" or "mp's" put me up to it, no green eyed monster's or whatever, Just wondering why I have seen things like a mod saying "thats alot like advertising but since it's Trawler i'll let it go" or seeing posts saying things like go to "this place and see any girl" mentioning the new place in town in quite a few posts that were talking about another studio or sp. Since I made this post I have had some good replies and pm's and of course a lot of neg. replies, but to show "T"'s class he himself has not replied to this post or by pm, maybe he understood the meaning behind my post and didn't think it was a personal attack or flame against him(which by the way it wasn't), unlike so many others who did. I understand why they jumped to his defence. Sorry to anyone on perb who thought I was attacking Mr. "T" or "wasting your time" but I was just stating something I have heard from other perbites and from the occational mp owners that I know.

There was two sets of rules when Wayne Gretzky was playing in NHL, one set for Mr. 99, and one set for the rest of NHL players. Its just that simple.

Look, I don't think it is about preferential treatment (Re: the comparison to Gretzky). Trawler is NOT getting preferential treatment.
You have to understand the difference between a review and an advertisement.
When the movie reviewer in the newspaper praises a movie that's not advertising--that's a review.
When the movie studio puts their poster in the newspaper, that's an advertisement.
The difference is that the reviewer does not get any financial benefit. He may biased (a lot of movie reviewers are) but he is still considered neutral because the movie studios are not paying him to write the review.
So unless someone proves that the massage studios are paying Trawler to write his stuff, I think the discussion should end.

Heck....if your like me one of your favorite games is "guessing who Trawler is"....I know 3-4 guys in my industry who it might be.....the fun part is that I will probably never know for sure!

Yes agree. However I do believe there are a bunch of SP here who pose as men (pooners). Either to give them self a better than average rating or to give bad rating to another they not to fond with. Keep up the good work T.

I heard trawler is a nice guy...
The girls actually know him, and he is like a Reputable Restaurant Reveiwer, he visits the different establishments and gives good reveiws on the services rendered.
He is just like everyone else here, he is just expereinced enough to actually have respect of his fellow pooners.
