My sentiments exactly. Of much greater relevance is the Luongo trade. So far Auld's play has declined even further. yesterday Ilya and the boyz lit him up for 5 goals on only 19 shots before getting yanked yet again. At this point, he's barely getting the nod over that ancient relic named Belfour and I have to think that the Panthers will be first in line to acquire one of those platooning netminders in Buffalo, SJ or Anaheim quite soon. Bert's actually played well so far but he's been sidelined with back spasms lately..is that a sign he's got a wonky back or what?

I've often asked myself why Cloutier sucks so bad, when he's obviously got the skills that a top goalie needs. The conclusion I've come to is that he lacks confidence! In a game that doesn't matter, there's no pressure, and he plays like one of the best goalies in the league (his regular season records in Van were good because of this). In a game that makes a difference, he's under pressure, and he cracks. He plays like crap, and he lets every shot in. Now that he's in a new home, he's feeling pressure to prove himself to his new team, so he's playing like shit because of the pressure.
