I've seen many SPs' websites saying they only see guys older than 40 or something. Does anyone know why they have this kind of restrictions? I've always been curious.

Oh come on be honest we older guys are less work. Us older guys will talk more and fuck less but you are right we tend to spend more.
When I was younger I just wanted to fuck more and talk less. Now I want more of a Connection and less of the physical thing. So for many SPs if they get paid for an over night or dinner date and they do not have go to bed that is a bonus.
With a younger guy it is about the physical thing and not the hanging out thing or the connection. Partly because they can not afford it and because they do not need it or want it. Just basing this on my personal experience over the last 30 years.
I think that is true. I am just speculating I myself have no idea except I can say that younger guys aren't any diff from older guys in ways of behavior, respectfulness & politeness, money etc. except maybe they have a lot more stamina and yes they probably do want to spend more time on sexual stuff...except with younger guys there would probably be a better connection with someone your own age (if the SP is also young too) so the conversation would be much livelier, they would have more in common.
I personally hate it when I see a hot younger guy at the door, it makes me feel insecure and extremely SHY and really difficult to perform socially, I end up looking like an awkward stuttering idiot, and don't take them seriously when they are admiring me, its like...me? look at YOU! I laugh when those stupid people ask me for a better rate or less restrictions because they are "young & hot", I'd like to say I'd rather charge you more just because of that, because you're going to make my job a lot harder! (but of course stupidity like that is best ignored)

How about, older dudes might have families so they should be more discreet and avoid the "falling in love and wanting to date an escort" trap because it'll cost them half of their worldly possessions?
this is true too...with an older and experienced man its just like another one-night stand, easy peasy, with some younger guys its like teacher student :doh:
Older men are more direct and to the point, younger men seem to have more questions, & be unsure, so basically if left to their own devices, send you countless messages to negotiate their session, half of which never manifest after a day or 2 of texting. Mature men line things up quickly with less questions or hassle. I still see both under and over 40, I connect well with both, yes young men may be more "work" in the bedroom either they fuck like rabbits (which is not necessarily a bad thing) or they need a lot of direction in how to touch a woman which is not entirely a bad thing although can take some patience, and be a bit of a turn off for some sp.'s. Also for those of us who have kids who are now in the early 20's range, and they may have friends etc who may unknowingly call, so it makes a lot of sense to stick to a certain age group for discretionary reasons as well.
Advise for younger or less-experienced (any age):
Keep communication short~start with well-reviewed ladies so you know you will get a good experience without having to ask questions all day long.

Sure there are the financial considerations for the mature guys having the disposable income. The downside of seeing younger pooners has the potential for meeting someone you know from your own age group or network of friends which makes seeing an older age group more immune to this situation.

I'm an older guy, 73 to get it right and enjoy the gals I meet. I seldom deal with any one less than 30 but that is more by situation than design. I don't mess around a lot either and prefer to have a solid friendly casual get together. I'm up to staying with the same gal for years on and off and find I get a good reception. It isn't true that all gals like us dear old guys and the vibes on some door openings have been enough to turn one the other way. Perhaps too an older guy is more likely to ask the right questions and be more sure of his choice before the first meeting so that all fits better. And with that confidence we can put the SP at ease too.
My current SP has resigned to take a job in Europe and leaves shortly. We will miss our friendship but all is ok. So I have to look around a bit again although no rush. Any applications?

Some girls have told me they prefer older guys because they spend time trying to please them and the younger guys just think it is all about them,plus it must be more work with the younger guys with msog.
Think about civvies. Some of them prefer older men as well, and it isn't necessarily about some of the reasons above.
Personally, I'm glad there are some of the better ladies who prefer the more mature and experienced gentlemen. When they state a preference like that, I feel there is a greater comfort level going in knowing I fall within that kind of group. Just wish more women would state a preference for shorter guys as well... as I'm nowhere near the 6 foot height many seem to yearn for.
