Why do guys search SP and MP when they already have a wife/girlfriend at home? I have been reading lots of posts and noticed people saying stuff like oh I was going to some party but decided to stop because of this girl and that girl on the street.

Pretty pathetic that you guys would cheat on your wives/girlfriends.

Ah well, everyone has their reasons for seeing an SP. I won't say that I've become cynical with the idea of getting married, but I will say that I'll be very careful and very sure when the decision is made. I won't be the easiest girl to get to settle down anymore.
The upside is, at least when you come to an MP you're satisfying your needs and leaving... no strings attached. To go and have an affair would be devastating to a relationship because you're bringing in emotions and somebody has to get hurt eventually. It's also probably a little safer because we do this for a living and as a result, we're very conscious about our health. We don't get caught up in the moment(so to speak) and forget about the necessary health precautions.
Many of my clients have been married for 20+ years and are perfectly happy at home... they just aren't getting any anymore. They come in, see me, and go home happy and content to go about their regular lives again. All other aspects of their life is fulfilling, except one thing. Better to take care of that with a professional than ruin an otherwise healthy relationship by sleeping with the neighbour's wife.

Also remember that monogamy has been around for thousands of years. We all forgot that except for the last few hundred years, most people were married by 12 and dead by 30. A paper cut could be fatal, and since condoms were made of sheepskin, if at all, STD's could wipe out communities if somebody was screwing around. Birth contol was the rhythm method, and most couple's had to have lots of kids, because most wouldn't survive to adulthood (again 12 years old.) Considering how hard wired sexual urges are into humans, monogamy was the only way to go.

That is not the case with most,it's merely a matter of convinience (speaking for myself).Sex and relationships are 2 different things,you were probably brought up in a religious environment,so you can't differentiate the two.Most of my family are hardcore religion freaks(I realized the stupidity of it all by the time I was 12) so I kind of know the mindset you are speaking from.Right now I could never settle down with just one girl,can't even imagine it(unless some amazing woman drops out of the sky and totally blows me away).I've tried the no strings sex sites as well,and i'll tell you for a fact it isn't so,the fact is all women have emotions,and they tend to get attached to guys they are "seeing".Now this is where SP's come into play for us,you can go,have your fun and leave,no maintenance,no late nite check -up calls,it's just a matter of convinience!!Get off your pulpit!

On one hand, I sorta agree with you because I put a halt to my pooning when I thought I was entering a serious relationship earlier this year. Because it wouldn't have felt right for me to poon if I had a SO. But if I was married and that biological imperative to spread your oats kicked in because I wasn't getting any from my wife anymore, I'm sure I'd be pooning too.

This also came up on another board in relation to Colorado Rockies pitcher Denny Neagle being caught with a SW in his car. As someone else pointed out there, remember Hugh Grant? He was freakin' bonin' Elizabeth Hurley (who is rumored to have a kinky side) and he picks up a SW, who in my opinion was butt ugly. According to reports at the time, this was not the first time that Grant picked up a SW.

Why do guys search MP and SP? Psychologically, most people's personalities have not fully developed until they are in their mid-20's, after being out from parental supervision for a time. As well, most personalities do change over time (I heard that our personalities change every seven years, but I think that's a crock.) So what attracts you to someone today may not be what you are looking for a few years done the road, especially if that other person has grown in a different direction from you.
