Wow, that was just a great post ElectraXXX. The effort and honesty you put into it is outstanding! Biggie applause.

See Just4fun, you got some excellent responses and didn’t get flamed ?. You can fo this!

i would concurr that personal hygeine is a must. Manscape, fresh shave, brush those dents, mouthwash, shower and wash every nook and cranny twice. Non-scented AP, and no fuking colgne. Shower again if she asks.

Enjoy, it’s a great life ?
You are right Punt I didn’t get ?. Haha

Don't kid yourself, its the amount of money an SP can make.
Or they are a sex addict and can't get enough dick... (I'm thinking not likely)...

Money makes your whole world turn.... MONEY!!!
Thanks for correcting the SPs who have commented on this thread. You clearly know your stuff better than we do. /s

Incredibly complex issue to understand. I reflect on it from both genders needs and reasoning.

I understand it can be simplified to monetary reasoning for both sexes.

An sp is her own boss and controls her own body as a financial instrument. No different from a man monetizing his superior physical attributes to be a ditch digger or a NFL wide receiver.

For men, it appears to be an economically efficient way for us to satisfy a need. Whether it be because one is to busy to date or no longer desires a life of conventional love.

Or is it simply a byproduct of modern feminism? Or technological advancements making it a much safer and accessible market to explore by both sides? Whereas in the past we had to travel on seedy streets and face dangerous individuals to engage in these activities, one can now safely explore it from the safety of our living rooms.

There are so many educated women on these boards. I am certain one day a paper or book will explore the psychological, economic and societal consequences of it. Netflix has done some exploration on it but they came up short imo.

We are in the early innings of this industry. I cannot even fathom what onlyfans will do to the sexual marketplace over the next few years. It's all evolving at an alarmingly fast pace thanks to growing technology.

At the end of the day, whatever the sp motivations, we are blessed that these women are a willing part of it.

If you want to get the best side of an SP and make a positive impact, it's quite easy. Send a thoughtful intro text. Many SP's will list what they are looking for on their ad or on their website. This makes us feel like you are kind, respectful, and put care into how we experience you - which is the number one factor in how you will experience her. If she says no to any requests or isn't available when you want her to be, don't push it or send more texts asking the same thing over and over.

When you see her, be friendly and positive. Don't be a silent starfish. Let her know what you like because some guys expect us to be mind readers and leave unhappy if we don't guess right.

Shower, mouthwash, tip or leave a gift if you feel like it. If not, don't worry, if you were a good experience she will like you just the same.

Why be an SP?

1. Work environments are often toxic.
2. I don't like being told what to do and when to do it - unless I'm being submissive for daddy/my boss/my landlord/whatever other kinky role he want's me to play.
3. I like waking up at 8 am and I don't like working late.
4. I like sipping wine and chatting to nice men in pretty outfits as a job.
5. The job I went to university for, although I love it, pays $26/hour and that doesn't even cover rent in Vancouver for the type of home I'll consider living in.
6. Sex work is a creative outlet and when it's a good session, it's better than therapy for stress relief and feeling amazing/happy.
7. I love meeting people from all walks of life and being able to connect with them, learn, and have cool experiences.
8. Having orgasms is fun.
9. Getting to have sex with people you would never have sex with in the real world is fun. You just never know who you will have amazing sex with and that's fun to uncover.
10. It's fun to talk to your civvie friends about having sex with 90 years olds and just the job in general.
11. Some of my day one clients have become the most important people in my life.
12. 2 weeks of vacation a year! Giving away $80,000 and 5-6 years of your life to get a good enough job to live in Vancouver! Working 40 or more hours a week! Living for a pension I may never receive! - Outrageous
13. The gentle, touching care that some of my clients show to me really makes me feel cared for. It is genuine and mutual.
14. There are jobs where you are making people unhappy all day. In this one, I get to make people happy all day.
15. I am impatient and compulsive or some say a quick start personality. When I create a goal or desire for myself, I want to achieve it now. Being a SW means I can make it happen in a week - a month or a few. In a civvie job, it would take years and I might have to ask permission to even go do it if it's a bucket list activity etc.

When it comes to the emotional part. You can't do this as a women who views sex as this sacred thing that only you and your partner can share. You have to be open-minded sexually to enjoy being a SW. Yes, there are times the bad behaviour of gross men can annoy you, get to you, and scare you. Reading some of the men who just rip women apart, the racism on this board (the way I see men talk about Asian women around here is disgusting), well it sucks to be associated with that because we are involved in the same sub-culture of sex work. But there are gross and un-evolved people everywhere you go and I can tell you, reading the words of toxic people via review boards or text messages making $300 an hour sure beats being around toxic people in person making $26 an hour and that is a part of life you can not escape anywhere you go. And honestly most of the men are awesome. Like look at all you guys trying to make sure we have a good experience with you. Of course we compartmentalize emotionally or we would fall in love with every client who treated us well or hate ourselves every time someone awful told us we should. This is a skill I am happy to have.

Why anyone feels sorry for women sipping wine in fancy hotel rooms with nice guys, having good sex and new adventures for a job is beyond me.
This is not only the best answer to the OP’s question but also the best thing I’ve read the whole week. (y)(y)(y)

Why work for $12 an hour when you can make $400 an hour. ?
Some musicians make thousands per hour. WTF you say... I asked a very famous artist one time how long it takes to do one of his $10k paintings.... "1/2 an hour AND 40 years of 12 hr a day practice."

No matter what you do for a living, if you are good at it, you already have a god given gift for it, and you practice practice practice, you will be successful.

psssssst,,,, she can practice on me please..

Why are most professional musicians, professional musicians, same goes for lawyers, politicians, building contractors, We do it cuz we have an interest in it. There is a certain SP in Victoria that talks about how she started in the escorting biz, on her website. Basically, she was in a job that was very male oriented and very controlling. Her aunt was an SP, so it was an easy decision. She loves what she does, is proud of it, and is very good at her craft. Practice, practice.

Hmmm. For a guy whose posting history suggests a lot of open curiosity, you're pretty cynical.

I can't speak for any SPs, but I can make some over-generalized comparisons with my own situation.
  • I got into my line of work by accident, sucked in by a silver-tongued professor.
  • My hourly rate is about the same as that of a mid-range SP, but I don't have to invite strangers into my workplace. I do have to be polite to my clients, but I don't have to do laundry afterwards.
  • A segment of the population considers what I do to be unethical. I don't care. Actually, I kind of revel in their outrage.
  • I really enjoy doing my job. If I didn't, I would have retired long ago.
I should think that some of the more fortunate SPs may see some parallels there.

I'm pretty sure if guys could get paid 300 or 400 bucks to have sex with women, it would be a job every lad aspires to.

There'd be college courses on cunnilingus and shit.
Quick note that only about 10% of what we do is sessions. :) but yeah I agree at the sexism you’re pointing out here xo

Most of the people with common sense that book escorts would know that not every session is based on just having sex and it can just be for non sexual companionship for some if that is what their preference is.

Lol no I mean most of what we do is branding, advertising, graphic design, web site maintenance, photos, makeup, hair, etc. My actual hourly is about $40/h.
