Why aren't services explicitly stated in Leolist Ads?

This is random but I'm browsing LL and pondering why the services in the ads aren't included more frequently and explicitly... or why are they blanked out... like bb*j instead of just saying bbbj.

Is there something against the LL terms of service for it? As far as I know in BC, its legal to sell these services, just not to purchase. So why doesn't everyone be more explicit in the services they are providing?

Because LL will remove the AD. They used to have a thing that screened it before you post.. not anymore but they can dump your ad at any time which may have hundreds of dollars of "bumps" on it and then you lose all of that... You wouldn't believe what it costs if I told you.

Its a huge cash grab for LL. Their ad costs, bumps and upgrades etc are insane vs how fast your exposure falls off 1st page. Also as AF said they will pull your ad with no explanation and you lose all bumps in that ad which you will never be reimbursed.

About $12 per post/bump which stays on pg1 for 15/20 min. No upgrades. Emoticons, labels, anything stylized, etc costs more and have a time limit before they fall off the ad.

The customer quality on LL is generally pretty awful as well. A lot of people are just fucking around for something to do... I had dick surgery and its 17" measured.. can you handle that etc... guys trolling for feet pictures, whatever. We found it was just a total waste of time. Been considering it just to promote the surrey location we opened but honestly despise that site. A lot of the ads are fake or scams as well, so I find a large number of clients are sticking with trusted sources these days anyway.

My escort ad is on page 50 right now lol. Leo list is hands down the worst site I've ever advertised on. I put $200 on my account and then only put 2 bumps on each ad at a time and never get any of the upgrades. If I lose an ad, it will be mildly annoying but I wont lose much money. Leolist also has a really annoying short character account so I can't put everything I offer in one ad. But that's what I have a website for anyways. So shady and greedy. I prefer to not pay them. But every time I make the decision to leave them permanently, I get a lovely person that used the search filter to find me. So I'll bump my ads once a week or so.

When you factor in leolist only takes lite coin. $200 cash turns into about $160 and then the actual bumps depend on what city or area you’re in. My massage and escort ads bump is $7.19 cents in leolist money. My escort ad goes off first page in about a half hour. My massage ads lasts about a day. My bdsm ad is 3 something a bump and lasts about a week on first page. My bdsm ad is mostly flakes and time wasters. It’s a waste of money actually but 3 something is nothing so I keep it on page 1 lol. Most of leolist is flakes and time wasters these days. It used to be ok. But whoever owns it now is a total greedy loser who is running a really weird business model. The scammers aren’t verified either so they pay more than we do. None of Leo list makes sense to me.

Tryst.link and perb are the sites i use now. You can also find ladies on Twitter. I mostly use Twitter for entertainment purposes. But if I put the energy into it, it would probably be better for work. Lots of providers seem to do all right on Twitter. I don’t like the idea that it’s not specific to sex workers so it feels too in your face blatant to me. So I don’t put a lot of energy into actually trying to build a following.

Now I have to book with Asian Fever just for saying this. LL is a ceasepool of scammers, everybody knows it but nothing is ever done about it. I wish every agency and every provider would boycott it.

The alternatives for people in BC are Tryst, agencies or this forum. I've compiled a list of agencies, you can PM me, I'll send you. Most people on this forum are experienced enough to know what's legitimate on LL, but newbies aren't, and they are getting scammed on a daily basis, and the scammers are making major money or they wouldn't be paying so much to bump the ads. And LL knows this, but does nothing about it, probably because they are in on the scams. Wouldn't surprise me.

There is a perfect market for somebody to build a more legitimize alternative site/app. If I was an agency I would be busy hiring a dev team to build a LL alternative.

I fully agree with this statement. You respond to an Ad on LL and your chances of getting Scammed are 99%.

The scammer ads are usually way more active starting in the early evening till morning. Why? To scam the drunk's...the high's...easy money! LOL... Also, it is cheaper for ad around midnight.

I was just going say that. Check for a legit website & social media presence. MOST importantly if they have reviews here on perb. Do a search online to see if the posted phone number is legit. Not a voip #
