I merely wish I could recreate those once-vivid images of the Vancouver street scene back in the 1980's.


My first observations were nothing beyond that, but oh how vivid they were, at least for a long while.


So many knockout beauties covering the sidewalks quite near to the Georgia Hotel and on surrounding streets and my just watching them from across the street on late summer nights.


The commerce was amazing, and there were probably fewer potent drugs inspiring the street scene when compared to the present.

Ashley Fame in a hotel on Kingsway Called Cassandra hotel. Your 1st, whether good or bad, is one you'll always remember. Fortunately, my experience with her was stellar to be honest. This thread is a very interesting read. I note many of you have experiences in Vancouver on the early to mid 80s, the same as me. I cruised the DTES most of the time as it was between work and home.
