Who pays a deposit every time they go to IF?

The booker is telling me the deposit you leave is to come off your bill the next time. WTH. that makes 0 sense.

Put a deposit down and leave it on the tab unless you don't show up.

I went in a few months back, never had it come off my bill and now they say that the deposit I put down should have come off the total cost and you repay the deposit each booking. This makes 0 sense to me.

Pay $50, leave it on the tab unless you don't show up.

I'm curious how this has worked for others?

Have never had to leave a deposit there out of the 6-7 times I've been there

I think I had to cancel once or twice and it's been well over a year or 2.

I have 0 issue leaving a initial deposit but I don't get why it wouldn't just stay on file vs making a new one each time. If you don't show use that one up and require a new deposit but every time makes no sense to me.

You're right the math works out the same. And I guess if you stop going they just keep it? Sounds like the equivalent of paying a $50 fine for cancelling a couple times.

If they gave us their real names with Gov photo ID I will do the same.

I have not paid a deposit either...but then I don't think I have ever cancelled. Usually I am a last minute kinda guy but when I did schedule ahead I did not cancel. I don't know how many times I have been there...20+? I don't want to know. hahaha
