i was under the impression that this was a public forum... and when you ask a question isnt the fun having responses from the whole spectrum of Perb participators? I find the serious responses and "trolls" as some like to call those that appear antagonozing, and oddballs and those that have thoughtful bits of wisdom to share. Part of what I enjoy on here is gaining insight into the many different personalities that are more likely to offer up insites they may not face to face. That is why I choose to remain somewhat anonymous. I edit myself much less here compared to how I do when face to face with someone. It's interesting to see how some of my real thoughts would be received if I shared them. And clearly that has been a good move as my unedited thoughts arent always received with enthusiasm...as my more socially intelligent self would have guessed.

One the one hand, the OP should be given some respect to keep the comments and posts at least partially relevant to the topic started. If I start a post about post-modernism impressionist renaissance interpretism, I expect to receive some comments on some combination of post-modernism, impressionist, renaissance, and/or interpretism. OK, I have no idea WTF I just said, but you get the point. In fact, I tried very hard to inject some levity into the situation and the thread by referring to what happens when one plays into internet negativity, flame wars and trolls. . I have also privately referred several people in the direction of the lady in question. I've made overtures of friendship towards the lady. you know what I used to do for a living, toad...and I went into that profession specifically as a response to having been bullied as a child. My classroom was a place that was often chaotic, disorganised, cluttered...but the number one rule was "WE ARE A COMMUNITY TO WHICH EVERYONE BELONGS".

True.....That and the way this board is moderated...the favoritism and turning a blind eye to pimps who blatantly work off this board (because they represent so much of the income for the board...) is SUCH A TURN OFF. I hardly use this board anymore.
