Big diff?
When low income, I don’t feel so ripped off by the gov’t and whiney society in general.
When high income, I feel overworked and financially raped.
At least the residual provides some lifestyle opportunities, but also grates daily at what an innefficient welfare state we have become.
At low income, I expect little and scrap for myself, but get to enjoy most of the fruits of my efforts.
At high income, I got to watch my higher taxes go to “safe supply”, etherial affordable housing projects, while opiod deaths raise and tent cities bounce around. I felt ripped off by socialist regimes.
Happier in my own tent.
So true. My income has increased over the years and spiked when my own business took off. Now firmly in the "200k+" category and I've become far more politically aware. I took a lot of risks and worked my ass off to get to this point only for the government to villainize people like me as the enemy and try to gouge us with taxes. No more TOSI, capital gains rate went up, short term rental laws changed (had a few airbnbs), I have to pay all my employees for a stupid stat holiday on Sep 30, which is a very awkward time of year for my business, so Trudeau and Eby can circle jerk each other, etc. Also, these taxes are going to support bums and terrorists so they can enrich our lives with their presence. Now I'm firmly a conservative voter no matter who the candidate is.Been on the <$30K crowd

Three stats in six weeks is hard on small businesses, especially when your operation is 365, and you can't just shut down for the day. Then you are paying double time and a half.So true. Businesses that pay their employees a living wage should not be subjected to the whims and policy wanks of governments that seek to unify but ultimately destroy our standard of living. GET THE FUCK OUT! Hey, Preacher, Leave our Biz Alone!Three stats in six weeks is hard on small businesses, especially when your operation is 365, and you can't just shut down for the day. You're the minority and that is why the NDP will win as this province is full of people who don't want to work hard and just want everything handed to them. They are also too stupid to realize government doesn't create wealth but simply steals from Paul to pay John.So true. My income has increased over the years and spiked when my own business took off.
