Which forum to visit

I assume most of us will be looking at the General Discussion area in "Other Canadian Reviews" instead of the Winnipeg Area? The Winnipeg area will die!! We will only see the same old reviews, the same old recommendations? in the Winnipeg area --- my guesstimate. I was away, but looking at what has been added over the last while, lucky if there is a new thread in a particular day.

Will we all visit the Gen Discussion area first and have to scroll through as it involves posts from across western Canada mainly. Just my opinion.

I expect you are right. Lately Winnipeg has been almost as dead as the Sask forum, and that's saying a lot. Perhaps it will pick up in the fall when everyone is back from summer vacation. But generally, I doubt you'll see too many reviews. Winnipeg has a good stock of talent, but by now people generally know who is good and who's not. And most people don't want to waste there money TOFTT on a likely bait and switch. The new girls that have been reviewed are usually sp's people already know from the parlours.

I expect this thread will be moved pretty quickly to general discussion.

I was thinking the same thing. The Winnipeg Forum is really dead these days!!!!!!!! And I'm assuming will be even more so , now that everything is moved to General Discussion.

Modicus, would you please explain why we have both a "General Discussion" forum and The Lounge? I don't see any difference in the nature of most of the topics discussed.

A long time ago, I suggested that they either be merged, or that Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba each have their own General Discussion forum. These would contain topics that aren't reviews, but which are of specific interest to the province in question. A good example would be the Broadway's/Nevada thread. On the other hand, Caryn's "Romantic Emotions" thread belongs in The Lounge because it has no specific geographic interest.

How about you run it by Fred instead of us?

I remember him from that old board that used to exist before Perb. He used to make some stryking remarks then!! LOL

Tastie must be whining right now to the Mod to move this thread since he came up with the glorious idea to kill the Winnipeg section!!

If people are interested in reviews: they go to the area titled "Other Canada Reviews > Winnipeg" section.

If people are interested in anything other than reviews: they go to the section titled "General Discussion area".

For those who are confused, they should carefully study the board's name, the "Pacific Escort REVIEW Board".

It's silly to fault the moderators for wanting to inforce the purpose of the sections and the board when they are clearly labelled.
