Can anyone confrim that this is the same Charlize from the Kitten Club?

I can't confirm as I never met her but if you do a search for previous ads, the one from Nov. 17th has a very familiar picture.

Add Swedish Touch to the list of closures. The Lower Mainland is now down to 9 MPs, 4 in Vancouver, 3 in Burnaby, one in Richmond and one in Surrey.

And the Swedish Touch had been around for 37 years

What one is left in Surrey? I thought they were all closed down.

Just heard about Kitten Club, damn that's a shame. Was on there once in Sept but meant to visit there again. Girls were very nice.

hello! for having worked at the kitten 2 month ago i can tell you that the music school next door was complaining A LOT although they bought AFTER that kitten was installed. is it too bad front girls were SO helpful to newbies! i also never heard about the party buses... worked there all shifts and never seen one. i will miss it!

^^^ she has it exactly right. I've read some of the posts here about some places have special licenses or payoffs to the city or a legal brothel in BC or BS like that. Fuck get a clue. It's not that at all, it's just like the above.

When cops raid these places, there's a REASON for it. You think LE can't look on Craigslist or Georgia Strait or this board to find places to raid? Of course they can. They could spend every man hour they have doing that, but it's not feasible and not practical. It's like smoking a joint in your house.

The #1 reason BY FAR that LE would raid a business or micro or AMP is due to COMPLAINTS. Those are what get logged and those are what need to be responded to. Somebody likely kept complaining about the Kitten Club until LE had to do something about it. blueizzabeth's mention of a music school next door "complaining a LOT" makes perfect sense.

If you have ever been to the Kitten Club, you know that there is an Apartment Building and a Townhouse Complex immediately across the lane. The Kitten Club was also running Party Buses, the Party Buses would park in the lane with the music going full blast and the doors open. This meant lots and lots of complaints from the people across the lane.

Talk about a stupid business idea! I think a low profile...would be more strategic...oh well, too late now!

Therein lies the 'rub' in operating a MP - sometimes if you keep it low key to avoid being noticed, the customers don't notice you either and business suffers. In just the last five years, this location has gone from the Ladybug to Cloud 9 and the now defunct Kitten Club - perhaps the landlord will go in a different direction this time around.
