My understanding was that she has left town for personal reasons and is still going to be making appearances from time to time in Vancouver, Victoria and Calgary.

Well, Laya and Syn-dee have indeed both flown the coop. ...at least the upscale "coop" they shared next door to the Marriott. LOL Syn-dee, it appears, has safely landed subsequent to her disregard for previous obligations.

The coop as you call it has seen some fun times.. We Syn-Dee, Laya, Bobbi, Samantha and myself are all sad to say good-bye to the great place. As we move on we will be found in new places...

I booked a Sunday afternoon appointment on Saturday but when I phoned to confirm, nobody at CCE seemed to know about it. They offered some other choices but I was all revved up for Laya so I passed. Damn, missed her again! I try to plan ahead but it seems that more than a few hours in advance is a waste of time.

Oh well, enough of my ranting!

She posted on Craigslist before the long weekend and I tried to set up a date with her and Syn-dee( still my all time fave) for Canada Day. After several e-mail exchanges times were tentativley arranged and then I tried to confirm with her but to no avail. E-mails not returned and Syn-Dee didn't answer her phone. Bummer. Anyway the fireworks at Canada Day were awesome so the day wasn't a total write off. Guess a duo with the fantastic twosome will have to wait for another day.

I also was set for a meating with the lovely Laya and no call/pm/email to verify date the day of....? Not like her to leave me hanging so I think she had personnal reasons for canceling.......I for one am not writing her off just yet........

Yup, same here, had an appointment set for the friday nite with lots of e-mails back and forth, then something about car troubles followed by nothing!!!!!!. Can't say it would be like her though
