I'm redecorating my place after too many years, and am totally out of touch as to where I can find one that meets that criteria.

I have checked out Ikea, and a few other places, but the only units I can find have either glass/transparent doors or mirrored doors. My place is all windows and mirrors as it is, so I am looking for something in a solid color.

I'm open to either neutral color to blend, or a bold statement piece. But not being able to see in the cupboards is a must.

I'm also trying to find a purple chaise lounge if anybody happens to have come across one ;-)

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much, and have an amazing weekend!

I've bought from Country Furniture on Marine Dr North Van. Back then the brown/black stain was all the rage.

Have you tried Urban Barn?

Have you ever thought about commissioning one of our many talented furniture designers in Vancouver? These days you get what you pay for and truly when you invest in talented artists you really do get something unique and very special.

I used to build very high end houses. You can find any style of cupboard you want in any home improvement retail outlet...Some assembled , some require assembly, and are very affordable.
Head into Home Depot and they have 40 different fabricators right there on their shelving.
If your looking for higher end, you can have them built at any custom cabinet shop.
As for you Chaise Lounge...And at the risk of sounding like a gay guy here....I have two leather ones, and your best bet is to find an Antique one, and have it recovered to your liking.
Both of mine I found on Craigslist in the Antique section, and badly needed a recovering..2 or 4 hundred for the "Bones" ,and 3000 each for tufted leather...Distressed of course.

Thank you to everybody for the suggestions! Very much appreciated!

This is for my in call, which I will likely only be keeping for another year or so, and therefore not looking for expensive, high quality custom designs. Just beautiful and reasonably priced (it can fall apart in a year ;-)

I'm looking into all of the suggestions, and am grateful for everyone's input.

Wishing each of you joy, health, happiness and abundance throughout the holiday season and always!

With light, love and gratitude,

Angel

I used an ikea sideboard next to an ikea bookcase for my setup. Was fairly inexpensive, and looks/works great.

Have you thought about JYSK https://www.jysk.ca/ They have a TV stand with solid doors for $200 and matching bookcases for $60.

It will all have to be assembled, but some of us are hands on guys :eyebrows:
