Agreed. Was up in Whistler the other day while a game was on. Three of the bars had the game on and it sounded like there was huge swarm of bees happening.

FIFA has no say in it. If it was a problem it would have been a stipulation on SA getting the world cup. It wasn't, so it's a non issue.
Worry more about faking injuries & diving....that's the real problem with soccer...........Pussy's & Posers!

If you're at home on your couch watching today's Brazil vs. Côte d'Ivoire game, afterwards catch Sony's "How to win the FIFA World Cup" documentary on TLN at 1:30 pm. (channel 89 shaw cable Vancouver) It's an excellent documentary.

Anything can happen this world cup. According to the documentary , stats say Brazil has the edge but so far, this world cup has been full of upsets. Brazil's 2-1 win against North Korea wasn't their most decisive win considering Brazil is ranked #1 in the world and North Korea is dead last (at 106th place).

Cafe Barcelona is a good place to dine and watch a Spain game. Also a good place to watch my favorite soccer team sometimes which is the name of the resto. Great tapas and wine list. And then head towards to Dulcinea at Denman for dessert for shots of 1528 chocolate and churros.
The sports book of the M Resort is the best in Sin City. In almost a year, they already control about 10% of the handle of the entire state of Nevada. Looks more like a trading floor in Wall Street. Although, not much packed during the Spain vs. Portugal match. Wait till the new Nikki Beach themed Tropicana sports book opens, its gonna be the Strip's best as what XS is to nightlife.
