Georgieboy was also banned for a month. When his review was deleted because he posted a link to a non-advertiser`s web site, he reposted the review minus the link. Apparently, even that isn`t allowed.

I don`t get it. PERB`s sister boards, TERB and MERB, allow links and contact info re non-advertisers to be posted in reviews and responses to inquiries, as long as it`s not blatant promotion. Why not PERB?

I wonder about the ferocity of this ban. Does it have anything to do with her having a "competing" website? Or was the ban the reason she started her site?
I agree with Avery about Merb and Terb's policies. They seem reasonable. I think when boards get too "protective" they lose their edge, and their attraction.
But that's just my opinion.
