I'll admit I'm new here, but I'm beginning to question the serious lack of a lesbian and female trans market in this city, or am I just looking in the wrong places? If so, please direct me otherwise. Much appreciation!! <3
Didn't the Georgia Strait have a women for women section? I can see someone not being willing to pay to advertise that service here, this is pretty much a women for men place.Sorry for the confusion. What I meant by lesbian ans trans professionals, was women who service other women, be it cis women or trans women.... Anyone who identifies as a woman. I shouldn't have separated women and trans women in my original post. I was actually trying to be particularly clear, obviously it came out as quite the opposite.
We're all women. Period.
My intention of this thread was purely educational. To be honest, I find it quite disturbing how little is out there that focuses on female only clientele. However, that could be a thread all to itself, and it's 1am and too late to intelligently discuss anything further.
Anyway, I hope I didn't offend anyone. I am happy to have found this page.![]()

I'm usually pretty good about acronyms but what is cis- and het- ?cis- het- trans- inclusive women, bisexual/lesbian or otherwise, as clients!
It's not an abbreviation or acronym. cis- is a prefix, meaning same, opposite of trans-. i.e. someone who identifies as their birth sex. het- is just hetero- shortened.I'm usually pretty good about acronyms but what is cis- and het- ?
Craigslist has listings for W4W and T4W but I think it's a pretty small collective, I couldn't guess how many clients are actually in the market.
