bought a stamp? Or wrote a cheque? Or used a landline?

This image popped up on Reddit and after a good laugh I wondered about the last time I had actually bought a stamp? Does anyone actually use them or the post office any more?

Buy stamps to mail Christmas cards. Only time of the year, and I really like receiving a real Christmas card, so still send some.

I write cheques for certain charities.

I still have a landline phone. Not really sure why, as it isn't used, but I think it's just a nostalgia thing, and reminds me of my parents, as it was their number.

I mailed hundreds of things last year. Ebay makes mailing very easy. You print your own labels so no stamps. Also use UPS or FedEx if buyers request it.
We have landlines at work.
Only time I have written cheques is for mortgages.

And by the way, that's not a burnt rock, so the Swedes can fuck off.

Two cheques a year. One to my accountant and one to one of the municipalities where I pay property taxes, which was also the only Canada Post stamp I bought. I can't remember the last time I used a landline.

Last stamp purchase was four years ago, last cheque written was three years ago, and I don't remember the last time I used a landline to make a phone call.

Did he touch the granite? If yes, then it’s burnt. It’s not going to do anything useful to the stone’s path or rotation so I wouldn’t call it cheating, but it’s against the rules.

I used my landline today, dropped something in the mail with a stamp a couple of weeks ago, but haven’t written a cheque in 6 to 12 months.

I probably sign 2,000 cheques a year and spend $3k a year on postage. Maybe more. Before I started my own businesses I had a cheque book that I never used and didn't even know how postage worked.

I dont have a landline, BUT, may get one, as cell phones and VOIP programs have issues with call quality and reception whereas landlines are bulletproof. Sensitive communications are also sent by fax as faxes are secure, in a low tech way.

Security is a big concern for my business and the old fashioned ways of doing business end up being the more secure and cost effective solutions.

I put a stamp on a letter that contained a "VOID" cheque and dropped it into a Canada Post mailbox less than 24-hours ago.
But I haven't had a landline in a coon's age.

I happen to have stamps books i bought 10+ years ago that I never ended up using. I still use a landlines as it's cheaper to have it tied in with my telus bundle than not having it. I never call out on it, nor do I receive calls. However, I do periodically use landline for work. Cheques, I still have a chequebook, haven't issued one yet, or ever. Just void cheques each time.
