When testing for STI's what do blood tests cover?

I've only had blood tests never had anything but just curious if i'm missing any bases? No symptoms of anything just curious.

When people come into the clinic for a general STI check up with no symptoms we usually do a blood test for HIV and syphilis. In certain situations we will also test for hepatitis.

I think the one thing that you have been missing is the urine test for chlamydia and gonorrhea. It is common for men not to have symptoms with chlamydia and it is much more common than HIV or syphilis.
