Let me go out on a limb here with a post about the elephant in the room. So many of the ladies we see, lust after, and post about, have lives outside of work. Face it, gents, we are the work. As an immature pensioner, I have always felt that most of the ladies would sooner we just gave them the money and went away. This isn't because I have been calling on actresses all these years, but because there comes a point where the Sweet Young Thing can no longer control her revulsion, and the mask slips.
Many of us are married, and sought something exciting, outside the vows, that wasn't being met at home. When it ends, it mostly ends badly, especially when a young lady begins to feel that her need for extra cash is turned against her, or exploited. At this point the older man is seen as the exploiter, and there just is not enough cash in the world to overcome the revulsion the girl feels. An intelligent pooner will know when to make himself scarce, and trust that he has behaved well enough to linger as a pleasant memory. Few of our gender are smart enough to make a graceful exit, and this makes us free advertising for Sir Galahad. Unfortunately, he is otherwise occupied, or may not exist outside the covers of romantic novels.
I shall be forever grateful to the ladies who took a chance on an older man, and who brightened up his senior years with their youth and beauty.
