The difference is that clients contacting and agency know that they are talking to someone other than the escort. Clients contacting an upscale, independent provider expect that they are talking to the escort herself, not the lady's husband.

This might be true in the Vancouver market, but it's not the same across Canada and in the US. Many 'high end' Indy companions have booking agents to handle their correspondence, and as I've mentioned before, there are 2 huge Indy escort collectives in TO and Montreal that have a central person who helps with booking arrangements.

Being away from perb for a couple of years has really opened my eyes to fact that the way things are done in Vancouver/Victoria are not the norm nationwide in the industry.

You people need to get out more. Visit terb and merb every once in a while and see how the rest of world lives.



Myself - I don't think I ever let another human being touch my work phone or my computer. (Except for the hot techie I bartered services with once a long time ago, but I sat right beside him while he worked on my laptop. He's still a member here.)

US practices are irrelevant. Their legal / economic situation is much different.

There's not many visible agencies in Vancouver for whatever reason. I wouldn't mind more if we know who we deal with.

There are visitors from the East who have a booking agent, sometimes she'd have a separate email address. No issue with that.

You want clients to be more socially responsible. For that, cannot really ignore the question if they deal with a pimp / agency or not.
